The Third Video (Troye's POV)

I woke up the next morning and immediately got onto my computer. My producer had emailed and texted me about the third music video. The email and text said the exact same thing. They read:

"Hey Troye,

Swing by the set around 3:00 today and we'll start filming for the third video."

I smiled and responded "Okay, sounds good." to both the email and the text.

Around two thirty I began to walk to the set. When I reached, Matthew greeted me as well as the girl from the "Fools" music video. "Hey Troye." Matthew said to me beaming with confidence. "Hey." I responded while nodding at the girl in introduction.

Matthew and I talked for a bit about the script and then we both parted ways to do our own things. I met up with my producer and he gave me a very expensive tuxedo. Observing the black and white material on the clothes, I thought back to when Connor and I were trying on tuxedos at Men's Warehouse in the UK. I smiled and took the tuxedo into my dressing room.

After putting on the tux, I looked at myself in the mirror, turning and looking from all angles. The pants were a little long, but I didn't really mind, and it didn't seem as if it would be a big deal.

I walked to the door in my dressing room to leave, but stopped upon placing my hand on the doorknob. I stood for a moment to think about the scenes that were going to be filmed today. I wanted to film a happy ending to the series, but I really didn't want to have to kiss Matthew again. I also wanted to shed awareness onto the LGBT community, whether it was for acceptance of sexuality, or for drawing attention to suicide, all due to coming into terms with who you really are.

I went into deep thoughts until I finally realized that I had been staring at the ground, and if anyone were to walk in and see me right now they'd think I was possessed. Turning the doorknob, I finally left my dressing room.

I walked straight ahead to speak with the camera men about how the footage was going to be shot. They were all under a tent with the cameras because it looked like it was about to rain, but that completely set the mood to be perfect for the video. The set was completely changed, and was almost exactly how I'd pictured it to be. It felt as if we were all in a real cemetery. The people who decorated the set did an incredible job. As I was walking I passed by Matthew who was dressed in his tuxedo and about to speak to me about something, but I didn't let him. "Looking good." I said as I walked passed him. Without turning around I felt his eyes turn back on me as we passed each other. I only complemented him so he wouldn't feel obligated to say anything to me, although there's zero logic in that. I'm just glad that he didn't stop to have a conversation with me.

After filming for surprisingly only three and a half hours, we were done. Everyone started to help with putting up tents because it was starting to drizzle, and I helped as well. Not long after all of the tents were set up, it started to pour. I was under a tent with a bunch of people sitting with computers and editing parts of the video. Someone handed me an HP laptop and told me that if I wanted I could help with the editing, or instead critique the editing that had already been done. I did a little bit of both, as well as a fair amount of crying.

After all of that, I was driven to a studio that was very close by to record a studio version of Talk Me Down. In the end, everything turned out great and the video was ready to go. I emailed the music video to myself and could not wait to get home to tell Connor all about it.
