This chapter will include various points of views.  Including Christina and Julie's POVs they might even meet their mates?!  Oh, and a surpise for Carly!

---Melanie's POV---

It was the morning of my 30th birthday.  Zaya was 8, Danny Jr was 5, and Lauren was 7 months old.  At least we waited 4 years for Lauren.  I was laying in bed sleeping peacefully.  Danny was 27 still looked like a God.  I felt a weight on the bed followed by a kiss to my shoulder.  Danny's hand slid down my back.  "Melanie, time to wake up."  I pulled the blanket over my head knowing I'd get tickled.  "I can hear you and you're right."  he tickled me.  I laughed.  "Come on gorgeous, Zaya and I made you breakfast."

"Uh oh, you poisoned it."

"Just for you."  he sat down and pulled me to him.  My back against his chest.  His hands resting on my sides.  "We need another guy in the family."

"I don't think so Mr. Mitchell."  he kissed me.

"Worth a try.  I have to go to work.  I couldn't get the day off."  he kissed me again and went to change.  I ate and let Danny kiss my forehead despite my anger.  Every year it seemed like.  "I love you and I'm sorry."

---Carly's POV---

I got to Melanie and Danny's house.  He was leaving for work.  "She's mad at you isn't she?"

"Yep.  I guess I'll make it up to her later.  See ya."  he got in his car and left.  I knocked on the front door.

"Aunt Carly!"  Mel opened the door and Zaya and Jr. hugged me.

"Hey guys."

I knew what Danny had planned, but I could tell Melanie was upset.  Every year since they got together he was always working on her birthday.  We dropped the kids off at our parents house and went swimming with Christina and Julie.  We were at Jack's estate near his pack house.  Aaron's pack and his pack were allies.  Carson, Kara, Erica, and Beth were here.  We were all best friends and we were all trying to get her to forget about the whole Danny working on her birthday thing.  That didn't bother her as much as the fact that he didn't even acknowledge her birthday.  Jack came home for lunch.  He walked over.  "Trespassing in my pool huh?"

"You said we could anytime."

"Still on for tonight?"

"It better get here fast.  Melanie's pissed.  Danny didn't even tell her happy birthday.  He works every year on her birthday."

"I know baby.  I'll see you tonight."  he gave me a kiss.

"Enjoy the pool.  Happy birthday Mel."

"Thanks."

***Party Time***

---Danny's POV---

I had a dress dropped off for Melanie and I arranged for a limo to pick her up and take her to Jack's. We were all dressed up in something fancy.  I was waiting outside when the limo pulled up.  I opened the door.  Melanie was sitting there her arms crossed.  "Hey sweetness."  she looked up at me and then looked at my suit.  "Come on."  I held my hand out and she took it.  I pulled her to me.  "Happy birthday sweetheart.  23 right?"  she smiled and hugged me.  Our lips met in a kiss.  "I didn't mean to upset you honey.  I'm sorry.  I guess your old age is rubbing off on me."  she hit my chest.

"Mr. Mitchell, I will make sure your room is ready.  I'll be back here around midnight."

"Thank you George."  he left.

"Daniel Mitchell, what are you up to?"

"Nothing."  he winked.  He slid his hand to the small of my back.  We went inside and he turned on the light.
