Chapter 57 : Secrets

" we're really fine Lea , I promise " I answered Lea's question for the hundred time now that we're getting ready in her bedroom
" I'm certain that this is not the truth Sandra, Even though we stopped being friends for some years ,  you're still the same girl from kindergarten " she said resting her hand on my shoulder , this is making me uncomfortable since I know that I'm lying and she may really now how I react when I do lie

" Stop bluffing , you're just saying so because you want to know more about Zayn and I'm not giving you that , I'm not saying something that is not happening . We are fine !! we call each other , we talk over the phone .. Not because he does not brag about me on Twitter like Harry does with you means we're not good " I smiled like a winner , I feel like she's convinced now , she won't ask again , I will get everything right with Zayn . We will go back to normal and love each other as we were before

She's quite now , she stayed calm for more than a minute which is a record for Lea, I finished with my dress , gold hosiery and a so fucking uncomfortable heels .
" When you Lie , you start blinking faster than normal, your cheeks becomes tomato red , you start repeating  words  .. " she caught me by surprise.. I was startled Then I smiled , my head down , don't know if I must be proud that she knows me that well or I'm ashamed that she caught me lying
" You're wondering how well I still know you ? Or how are you going to avoid Zayn's case again ? " she states , her arms crossed across her chest .. That kinda reminds me of mom when we were young Sam and I , and god we caused so much trouble she just make us sit , stood and look at us with crossed arms and sweet looks , she never had the courage to punish us because we were so cute , thats what dad used to say .

" No and Yes .. I never knew that I do all of those signs when I lie "
" Well now you know " she said proud
" Maybe this was when we were friends and If My memory is still working , its been over five years since we stopped talking and I guess I changed in that time , my closest friends who stayed by my side knows me best " I said my words slays as a knife , I was quick and didn't realize what I really was saying till I saw the look on Lea's face
" Lea fuck sorry didn't meant to " I'm ashamed of my self what have I done ?!
" No don't be sorry , its good to say what you think out loud " she snaps
" No its not what I think of you , I swear .. I'm just so sensitive and .. "
" You may say that I left you and I'm an evil bad person but at least I was always honest with you not like some of your best friends with whom you spent the other five years " She snaps at me, angry because I judged her and I know she never like to be not only judged but somehow insulted , but what did she meant with honesty and best friend

" what do you mean Lea ? How Melanie is not honest with me " I know she's talking about Mel because she's the only best friend I've got for years
" Nothing , I didn't meant anything!! " she scoffs and turns to finish her makeup
" I clearly heard you say honesty in the sentence , which means someone is lying to me . So spit it out Lea" she looks at me annoyed and turned again to the mirror
" Les as much as you were right knowing what exactly I do when I lie . I know you too and you're a terrible liar so tell me " I earned a smile from Lea , I look so funny threatening someone, it doesn't look like me at all

She finally stood in front of me with her white dress perfectly fit on her curved body, her legs are shiny thanks to the oil that she spent hours massaging them with . But she looks stunning as she always does . " Listen Sandy! " she exclaimed in a serious tone

" You're hiding secrets from me , and I'm hiding secrets from you , we're both not ready to tell as I noticed and its not either the time for that since we're already late to go out ! I know you're stubborn and curiosity kills you most of the times but try to deal it with it for now as I'm doing good with not digging much into your secrets and lets head out okey ! " she gave me a light hug and a pick on my cheek
" Not fair at all ! " I protested shoving things into my clutch
" Don't be childish " she laughed at how my feet were tapping on the ground " whats not fair ?"
" My secret is not really a secret "
" how is it not ? " she smirks

" well its just a question with no answer , you asked about Zayn and Don't lie cause I'm so sure that you already knew the answer before asking " I was following her into the stairs , since she was already fast walking , proclaiming that we're late to a club really !
" Fair enough! But some secrets are not mine to tell " She started the engine waiting for my silhouette to get into the car .
" Bullshit !!!! " I protested in my seat
" I just quoted you're favorite sentence remember " she smirked aware that she's right , when I was young  I always used to hide secrets from people saying that some secrets are not mine to tell, and its not good to talk about others you have to wait till you find out or that someone tells you .
" Whatever .. " I rolled my eyes giving up on whatever she's hiding , I'll just save it for another day
" Stay strong Sandra no matter what, you're a good person, people are evil and can do whatever for their own good , but remember I'll always be by your side no matter what okey! " She tapped on my arm and started driving
" You're really scaring me Lea !! "
" Don't be , just be strong , I'm sure you'll pass every difficult situation if you are already over passed Nate's " his name stills affects me from inside but not like before , I don't get chills or scared when I hear it , yes I'm way stronger than before .

We headed into the club after Lea gave a name to the security , he accompanied us to the VIP area that was already full of recognizable faces , faces that I missed so much , faces that comforts, make me laugh and happy when I see
" Looook who's there .. Good we missed you" four handsome boys jumped on me , and we hugged till death tears up apart
