Chapter 7

    Finally it was Saturday, the first week of hell was over. It was the longest fucking week ever. I had convinced mom to let me go to Quinn's party tonight but I had to bring Hayden. The guys weren't to happy about it, but it seemed like this year it wasn't going to be just us. 

"Katy, Anne, Joey, Hector, and Vince are coming dude" Xavier said screeching over the Skype call they were the 'popular kids'.

"Holy shit what are we even doing" Carly said excited

"Ya boy has alcohol, a pool, and a large living room. It's a movie style high school party" Quinn smiled

"Better have good music or I'm leaving" Jacki laughed

"Set It Off, Waterparks and As It Is are all on the list my child" Quinn grinned

"Hey my dads calling me down I'll see you guys tonight" Cary said logging off

"You guys gonna hook up tonight" Corey asked with a grin

"Fuck you, no. We aren't even dating. We don't even know if she's straight" I laughed

"Dude she's into guys she's talked about having an ex girlfriend and an ex boyfriend. So you've got a 50/50 chance" Xavier laughed

"I better go Josh is knocking" Jacki said awkwardly

"See ya tonight Jax" I said with a smile

The guys talked more about Carly and I, which was painful to listen to. I got off the call when they started getting into nasty details. I changed out of my pajamas into a black, short sleeved shirt and black skinny jeans. I brushed my hair before realizing it was a horrible idea, my hair grew puffy. Wetting my hair and blow drying it was the best idea, so I went with that. I sprayed on probably the most cologne ever. I was nervous and prepared to sweat from dancing. I went downstairs to eat something small because if Xavier was right we wouldn't have any pizza left.

"Jeez Ice did you bathe in your cologne" Luke laughed coming into the kitchen

"I knew it was too much" I sighed

"Who's the human?" He asked

   Luke, Steve and Mom never assume if my person of interest is a boy or a girl, it's nice that they won't care who I date based on gender. I've never really thought about my sexuality, I've only ever had crushes on girls but who knows I'm only 15.

"Carly" I sighed again

"The girl who brought you home" he asked

"Ya she's so amazing I've only known her for a week but it feels like much longer since we have all of our classes together" I said feeling the blood rush to my cheeks

"That's how I felt about Steve when I met him. Not saying you'll be like me and Steve but I'm happy if you're happy kid" he grinned

"Thanks Luke" I smiled before rushing up the stairs.

Flyzik had used his super powers and gotten into my bed.

"Fly come on you're on my jacket" I whined trying to roll the chubby dog off my jacket.

    His stomach slides across the ground, his stubby legs not helping much, it's adorable but I feel bad for the guy. He's 11 which to him is 77 so I guess he has an excuse for being so round.

"Fine you win but only because I refuse to fight anyone over the age of 40" I laughed putting on my vans and grabbing my skateboard

I ran down the stairs and said goodbye to mom and ran out the door before mom called out for me.

"Forgetting someone" she said pushing Hades out the door

"Grab your board kid" I yelled

"But my hair is perfectly curled and it's so humid" Hades whined

"Honestly Hayden no one will be paying attention to you I can't be late" I said going up to the door

   She was wearing shorts, a crop top and high top Converse. She was dressed like all the freshman at my school.

"Fine but if my hair gets messed up I'm going to kill you" she said grabbing her penny board

We skated down the street to Quinn's house, music was already playing. I laid down the ground rules with Hayden about how she wasn't aloud to tell mom anything that happens tonight and how she's not aloud to drink or smoke anything.

"My boy" I smiled when Quinn opened the door.

  We did a total bro hug before walking in. I put Hayden and I's boards into Quinn's parents room. I said hello to Mr. And Mrs. Edwards before going back downstairs. They were the coolest parents I had ever met. They gave Quinn two nights a year to throw a party without any rules. Quinn used those as the Kickoff Party and the End of Year Bash.

"What did your parents get" I said opening the liquor cabinet

"Wine coolers, vodka, fireball, and a keg" Quinn grinned

"Hit me up" Corey yelled

"Vodka soda?" Quinn asked

"Hell ya" Corey smiled

Quinn mixed it into a soda bottle and threw it across the living room. It was honestly the funniest thing even since Corey is very uncoordinated.

"I'm bored" Hades sighed

"Well we came early to help hide shit so help" I said

"Fine" she said crossing her arms

"Damn Dun your sister looks like your mom... Hot" Xavier sighed in aw

"Honestly Xav do not talk about my baby sister and mom like that" I said covering my ears

We went around taking everything glass or breakable down and hid it in either Quinn's room or in the garage. Carly and Jacki showed up together. Tyler was standing out the door yelling for me. I put down the red cup and walked to the door doing a breathe test on my hand first.

"Make sure Jacki doesn't get herself in trouble tonight" he's staring into my soul.

"Of course Uncle Ty" I grinned

"Be safe, don't drink too much more I can smell it on you already" he said with a sad smile before walking away

Jacki and Carly were sitting at Quinn's laptop putting some more songs on the playlist. Xavier and Corey were taking more cups out. Quinn and Hades were still taking picture frames down.

Soon actual people started showing up.
