Breaking Ice

Chapter 33

Isaac's POV:

We were coming up to the winning video. The last three were from Los Angeles, Brighton and Toronto. The six of us were squeezing each other's hands.

"The winner of our contest is from the land of Corn Fields and Buckeyes. Columbus, Ohio" Michael grinned

"GUYS" Jacki screamed

Our video began to play on the live stream. Quinn ran around grabbing and throwing the party poppers to everyone. We counted down and shot them off.

"We did it" Xavier said, tears in his eyes

"Congrats Ice" Travis said patting my shoulder

"Isaac" I said, I don't like him enough for him to call me Ice.

"Right, sorry" he said sadly

"WE FUCKING DID IT" I yelled hugging the group

"You guys fucking did it" Luke grinned joining our hug circle

"I'm going to hug Skylar Fucking Acord" Carly squealed

"I know you guys are excited and I'm proud of you all but please stop swearing" Mom said

"I'm gonna go call Carter okay" She smiled walking into her room

"Mom did you rig it" I asked following her in

"No I haven't talked to Carter since The Five year" She said sadly

"Oh ok" I smiled excitement filling me up again

I went into the kitchen to get some pizza and soda, before joining everybody in the living room. They had started watching Talulah. I had a giant crush on Ellen Page.

"I talked to Carter" Mom said sitting down

"What did he say" I asked excitedly

"He's going to be in town this weekend, I'm going meet up with him and go to lunch Sunday and if you guys want to come out with him on Saturday we can"

"Your kidding right?" Xavier asked

"You know Tyler Carter what" Carly asked

"Babe I've told you this a billion times my mom was on tour with my dad when PIT happened" I explained again

"I thought you were joking" She said tears welling up in her eyes "this is so cool"

"So dinner on Saturday with Carter?" Mom asked

"Yes oh my god yes" Carly squealed

"He's not that cool" I laughed

"No offense but I've had a crush on him since I was 10 this isn't real" Carly squealed

    We talked a bit more about Carter. Carly was so interested in who Mom knew and what touring is like. She also yelled at me for not telling her that Set It Off played at my parents wedding.

The concert was on February 23rd so we still had three months. I was bouncing off the fucking walls. Carly's birthday is the 18th of February while Xavier's is the 21st, it'll be one big birthday celebration.
