Chapter 28

Isaac's POV:

Everybody was hungover the next morning. It didn't help that Josh was having a tantrum over who knows what. We all woke up groaning and holding our heads.

"Last night was fucking great" Xavier said

"Shhhh" we all said

"Sorry" he whispered

We all went downstairs and Jacki threw the bottle of ibuprofen at me. Jenna was making her famous blueberry pancakes.

"Rough night?" She asked us with a grin

"Not really we got the whole video done we just have to add the music" Jacki smiled

"Where's Corey I thought he'd be here" Jenna asked

"We broke up mom, and the party was at his house" Jacki shrugged

"Who broke up?" Tyler said coming into the kitchen, kissing Jenna on the cheek

"Corey and I"

"I'm so sorry to hear that Jax" Tyler said with a slight grin

"Oh sweetie what happened" Jenna said handing us plates

"Just a mixup of feelings it's okay." Jacki shrugged

   We carried on with breakfast while Tyler had a smirk on his face. He was happy about his little girl being single again even if he didn't know the exact reason.

"Tyler Robert stop smirking" Jenna said hitting him with a dish towel

"I'm not" He laughed

"What are your plans today?" Jacki asked her parents

"I'm going into town and working with Brendon on some stuff" he said nodding

"Uncle Bren is in town!? Can we see him!" Josh said very excited

"Not today buddy" Tyler smiled

"Heard you say not today" Jenna sang

"Why are you like this" Tyler said kissing her forehead

   Jacki and Josh proceeded to gag at their parents affection. It was kind of nice seeing two parents together. I don't want a stepdad but I feel like Travis is good for mom.

My phone began to ring upstairs so I rushed up and answered it just in time.

"Hey Isaac I was wondering if you want to go paint balling with me tonight." A man said on the other line

"Who is this?" I said, I hadn't checked the caller ID first

"It's Travis didn't your mom give you my number?" He said

"Right sorry I didn't check the ID" I mumbled

"So paint balling?" He asked

"I have to work on a video project all day sorry" I half lied

We didn't have to do the editing tonight, I just didn't want to be alone with Travis yet. I'm also not a fan of athletic things if we're being honest.
