The wind was not as foreign as she thought it'd be. It was the first week of winter, and it was KC's wedding, she couldn't miss it for the world.
She reached for her pocket to grab her phone and typed "im here, no need to pick me up" for her sister, Coleen.
"Im home??? Ma??"
"Im in the kitchen, sweetie"
"Ma! Where's everybody?"
"Lumabas! Alam mo naman! It's KC's Wedding tom!"
"So?"
"Well we they have to look pretty too, sweetie. Ano nga bang isusuot mo? Nakabili ka na ba?"
"Uh oo nakabili na ko. Ma, can I go upstairs muna? Medyo pagod ako eh."
"Ah osige anak. Baba ka nalang if you wanna eat na."
"Okay ma."
"Glad youre home, meng."'
She entered her room and the first thing that caught her eye was her window.
Pumunta kaya siya dati dito at umasang pag binato niya to ng bato? May sisilip, o-oo at tatakas para sumama sa mga trip niyang puntahan tuwing madaling araw?
She placed her bags near her bed, took of her boots, and dozed off.
Tomorrow is another day.

"Shit! Ano?! Ang aga aga riz!"
"May good news ako!!!!"
"Ano?!"
"Andito si ate Meng!"

"Yes!"
"Andito?!"
"Yes! Umuwi siya for ate KC's wedding!"
"Uh.. Akala ko..."
"Sayo? Akala mo sayo?"
"Hindi ah!"
"Che! Ligo ka na dali!"
"Bakit pa? Hindi naman ako pinuntahan niya dito."

The wind was pretty strong. Hindi ata magandang lumabas...
Winter is really coming, she thought. But yeah, she couldn't miss it for the world.
She sat down on what used to be "their bench" when a hand tapped her shoulder.
"Pst." Oh.
"Huh?!... Hey." He said with a smile on his face.
"Uy." She smiled back.
"You look different." Tangina ang gwapo mo.
"So do you." Ang ganda mo grabe.
"Thanks."
"Can i... Sit down with you?" He looked stressed and in doubt but she replied, "yes" and oh, the relief.
"So... You're here." He was looking straight away.
"Yes I am." Look at me.
"KC's wedding huh?" Still not looking.
