Steven is the main character of the show. He is proof that gems and humans can reproduce.
....I bet some of you though he was safe from this.......
What can I say about Steven..
He can let his emotion run wild. As seen in many episodes his powers are tied to his emotions. His healing powers, his ability to float and even his shield/bubble. If he continues to let it run him his powers will stop working properly. Steven has the bare minimum control of his powers. As seen in the Cat finger episode, he had to use water to change back. He literally almost aged himself out of existence in "Too Many Birthdays".
Speaking of emotions, in the past few episodes he let his emotion take control when it came to Kevin. I hate Kevin too, but what Steven did was not the best way to go about it. Him and Connie both could have gotten hurt if they didn't brake correctly.
He wants to help with the upcoming, possible war, but he has a long way to go.
While Steven is typically friendly and kind-hearted by nature, Steven's enthusiasm and excitability can get out of hand, and he ends up doing more harm than good. When this happens, he can be anywhere betwixt obnoxious, overbearing, and simply rude. Steven tends to let his inhibitions go out the window when doing something theatrical, as seen in "Tiger Millionaire", "Steven and the Stevens", and "Sadie's Song". His alter-ego Tiger Millionaire is the best example of Steven letting his passionate side get the better of him, even though we can sort of blame Amethyst.
