This bitch is terrifying. Like I speculated on her true strength and powers, but she's beyond scary. She can literally exert her will upon gems and control them like they're puppets. Also the fact that the Diamonds are pieces of White is a bit concerning.

So can we just talk about her for a minute. She's basically a GOD! She can exert her will on others which is a bit worrisome.  She's the leader of the Great Diamond Authority that rules over the Gem race. She holds supreme authority over all Gems, including her fellow Diamonds, and is seen as a being beyond the rest of her kind.White is described as being difficult and has a temper that can take a while to cool down;according to Yellow White never leaves her ship and never lets anyone in few cases or incidents (such as Pink/Steven's return to Homeworld), so it may be possible that she is a bit reclusive, and according to Blue Diamond, she has no sense of humor, being furious of Pink for naming a batch of Pyrite "fool's gold".

Not to mention she acted as if Pink Diamond threw a tantrum and went to a friend's place to calm down. Like no White, Pink straight up caused an all out war. And not to mention her obsession with perfection... No wonder Pink ran off. Making the other gems better by generously "removing their flaws" aka anything resembling a personality. When she took control of the Crystal Gems, she told Steven that "there is nothing to hinder [her] white light sparkling through them" and saying that they are now "perfect". White Diamond has strict expectations on the way other Gems should behave, causing an immense pressure that Yellow Diamond says could "crack a Gem."...and I'm starting to piece together what happened to Pink Pearl. She takes this obsession so far that she breaks down after she becomes emotional, going as far as saying emotions are a flaw. This reveals her biggest flaw/fear: atelophobia( the fear of not being good enough) .Which is something both her, Pink, and Steven have, which I will go into more detail about in another chapter.

But the main thing that stood out was how manipulative she is. White Diamond's powers and personality is seen as symbolical of mental abuse or manipulative behavior. Abusers of this kind make their victims question their mindset, using deceit and manipulative words or actions to make said victims believe that they are in the wrong, or generally making them too confused about their attacker's behavior and outward performance to try to leave in fear of hurting them for being innocent, or being unable to recognize the fact that they are being abused. This is reflected in a lot of White's dialogue in "Change Your Mind", as well as her ability to control the actions of others through mind control.
As much as I hate to say it, White Diamond was an amazing villain/ antagonist. I would love to see growth from her and the other Diamonds. And much of her performance hit home for many viewers because they know or knew someone like this. The fact that Rebecca Sugar and her team created this is something else and can't wait to see more from the Crewniverse.
