So I was reading @jeswrite5184 Theory book and one of the chapter's hit me....What was Lapis Lazuli's purpose.
We all know what each of the gems purpose is as stated in the show:
- Jasper, Ruby, and Amethyst: soliders
-Pearl: Servants, especially to the Diamonds
-Sapphire:An aristocrat( BD right hand gem/ soothsayer)
-Peridot: Technicians.
-Bismuth-Construction and Blacksmiths
I'm leaving Rose out of this, because the way she is dress says she's more so part of a court than a fighter.
But what about Lapis.

Every gems has a purpose, but what about the Lapis Lazuli's. To include her, there were at least three in Blue Diamond's court. What were their purpose.
GEMOLOGY
Lapis lazuli is normally associated with power and gods,sometimes royalty, even being found in statues of gods since Mesopotamian times nearly six thousand years ago.
Lapis lazuli is said to stimulate the desire for knowledge, truth and understanding, and aids the process of learning.It is believed to strengthen total awareness, creativity, and helps to expand viewpoint.
A stone of truth, lapis encourages honesty of the spirit, and in the spoken and written word. It is also a stone of friendship and brings harmony in relationships.
MY Theory on Lapis' Purpose is:
Lapis Lazuli is meant to be some sort teacher or even a scholar/ judge of some sort.
