So in the previous chapter I spoke on the Rebellion and basically theorized that Yellow Diamond Shattered Pink for starting the Rebellion. I can predict the comment" But Biamond, we were told it was Rose who started the rebellion. Why would Pink Diamond turn against her people?" Look at the Diamonds as a Royal Family. The eldest always get the crown and the younger siblings... well... they are still in the running for the crown,depending on the right of secession, but it will be the next oldest that get the crown, and that's only if the eldest didn't have any kids.But in some cases, the crowned ruler can choose a successor, who might not even be the oldest. Also look at them as a normal family. When it comes to rules and discipline, the youngest normally get away with more the oldest. Mostly because they learned more ways of being sneaky. The oldest will have a basic flip phone at 16 and the youngest will have the latest iPhone at 10. The oldest so on and so on. But back to the Diamonds. Earth was said to be a potential colony, PD's first along with the moon. Evidence of some sort of Gem life include many of the gem ruins and temples. With this we can conclude that Gems inhabited the Earth and kidnapped a few humans to place in the Zoo. So it's likely she was supervised for all of 10 minutes before they said," There's water in the stream over yander, call if you need anything." And left. But back to the main question: " Who started the Rebellion?" We all know by now that Rose didn't shatter PD because there were no Rose quartz in her entourage and that there weren't any for hundreds of years. So Rose couldn't have started the Rebellion. Yellow and Blue didn't start it because what reason did they have. White is busy with Homeworld so she can't really do much. And if any gems even though about rebelling... well we've seen what happens when they get out of pocket. Any sapphire can predict the start of a rebellion, if it was foretold or talk of it. The only other gem with the power to do so is none other than...

That's right. Pink Diamond started the Rebellion. Who else can get the things they need, without raising any alarms? Rose? Let's speculate for a moment. PD saw the beauty of the Earth and wanted to preserve it, hence kidnapping and storing human in the Zoo. But she new if wanted to save their home, she had to fight back. Using the only Rose Quartz she had she formulated a plan. PD began to suspect that the Rebellion is about to come to light. So in order to continue it she asked Rose Quartz to lead, should anything happen to her. Her Sapphire foretold her shattering, but PD was no where to be found... Now this is where the Rose is Pink Diamond theory comes in to play... so Rose shape shifted into PD and took her place to keep the Rebellion alive. Sapphire told PD and in order to stay hidden, shape shifted in a Rose Quartz. .... but that's just a theory. Who do you guys think started the Rebellion and who shattered Pink Diamond?
