This is both for the group and the episode. This is pretty short.... So "Off Color" introduce Rhodonite,Rutile Twins,Padparadscha, and fluorite to the show and they may come back at a later date, who knows. Now I wanted to theorize on why they were called off colors. Because according to Webster this is the definition:

I would understand that to refer to Daisy Sapphire, but not everyone else. Fluorite and Rhodonite are fusions and the Rutile twins are just conjoined gems. Holy Blue Agate referred to some of the Famethysts as "off colored betas". Especially since they are all just PD's gems. Now the second definition caught my eye. They don't follow what is considered the "proper" standard of behavior. Now when I say behavior, I mean they act outside what is considered proper for Homeworld gems. -Fluorite is a mashup of at least 6 other gems( and is surprisingly stable). Those gems could very well be other off colors.
-Daisy Sapphire future vision doesn't work properly
-Rhodonite is another forbidden fusion. Possibly hearing about Garnet they gave it a try and was caught...note to self , theorize on Rhodonite's origin.
-Rutile Twins, though normal by most standards, came out somehow fused together, and they weren't cluster experiments...or were they....New theory...
Who knows that can be just one group of off colors. There could be many more out there.
