Why did Jasper refuse help from steven?/ Redemption Arc?

"Jasper is very different than Peridot and Lapis. Unlike them, she has a deep hate for herself because of her origins on Earth. She is determined to never be weak or vulnerable. So at the point when she's the lowest, there's no way she'd ever accept help, because she believes she doesn't deserve it.

Peridot and Lapis both believed they deserved better than what happened to them, but not Jasper. She went back to Earth to face her demons, and she lost. She's consumed by her own self pity.'"- Rebecca Sugar.

So can Jasper get a redemption arc. I mean it's possible. But let's talk about why Jasper refused Steven's help.

Steven is the son of the bitch who killed( I think otherwise) her Diamond, her queen. Like I'd be pissed too. Sins of a parent can follow the children. Like if your parent(s) betrayed his country, he would be seen as a traitor. And you and your siblings will have to live with it, even after the death of said parent(s). Picture that with Steven. His mom started a rebellion, she killed( still doubt , but that's my opinion) the leader of the Earth colony. So do you honestly like she wants help from him. Steven is the son of a traitor, making him a traitor by default, even though he was born centuries after the war was over. 

Not to mention her pride. Jasper seems like a proud gem. Jasper's mindset on victory is her primary focus. Without the prospect of a challenge, she considers the task at hand a waste of time. Jasper will even forsake her beliefs if that means she will come out on top. Interestingly, as long as they fought on even terms Jasper does seem to respect those who best her in combat, implying she has a warped code of honor. Like when Garnet or Stevonnie both beat her in combat. She quickly dismisses it as them only winning because they are a fusion.

Jasper's corruption was caused by her emotional state. She hates that nobody that she fuses with wants to stay. She hates that Steven( and by extension Rose) because of what happened to Pink Diamond and her colony. She is driven by vengeance. She wanted Steven( Rose) to suffer for what she did. 

In the end, it was her pride that got in the way. Steven could have partially healed her like her did with Centi, but because of her way of thinking, she refused. Jasper never wants to be thought of as weak, and because of her origins on Earth it drives her to be...well her. When she hit rock bottom, she believed she didn't deserve it. After everything that happened, I would not blame her. She faced her demons...and lost.

Could there be a Jasper Redemption Arc? Well many fans don't want one, because they believe she doesn't deserve to be redeemed. I would love to see one. There is already have a marathon called "Jasper's Corruption" So maybe, there will be a Redemption Arc for Jasper. Who knows...REBECCA!
