The Diamond Authority

A nod to the next Steven Bomb.( PS I will roast the shit out of Yellow Diamond at some point.)

The Diamond Authority. Made of the top of Mohs Scale , the Diamonds.  With Homeworld maintaining a strict caste system, with each type of gemstone having a predetermined role and place in the social pyramid, each with their own privileges and ordained purposes. Any Gem, who, in any way, digresses from their role, be it intentional or not, would be considered defective.

Yellow Diamond , Blue Diamond, White Diamond, and Pink Diamond....who I still think is Rose Quartz, but that's just me.  

There are four part of society: Politics, Culture, Military, and Agriculture. 

Each of the Four Elites are in charge of some aspect of the Gem society.  So let's begin with the one of the two known Diamonds: Yellow .

Yellow Diamond

Yellow Diamond the Ruthless.In "Hit the Diamond", Peridot reveals that Yellow Diamond is in complete control of Homeworld's military. So it is confirmed that YD is part if the military aspect of Homeworld and in a way...industry, but I'll get back to that. She puts forth her agenda under the guise that it is what is best for the Gem race. This is evident when she chooses to reject Peridot's proposal to utilize the Earth again, despite the fact that Homeworld is low on resources, as stated in "Too Short to Ride"....over 6000 years after the first try. She is also known for her short temper and no nonsense attitude. 

According to Gemology, Yellow diamonds are used for industrial purposes, such as concrete saws, because of how common they are.They were worn by many with the belief that they help the wearer to conquer their enemies and win their battles. Yellow Diamond is both a industrialist and a military leader. 

Blue Diamond

As stated by Rebecca Sugar, blue gems are diplomats. So they must study cultures and what not. Blue Diamond is the center of it. Her style seems to have some Middle Eastern/Hindu influence. Her court is a place of learning and high society. The best example is Sapphire. She as been described as an aristocratic gem. Blue Diamond's importance is further emphasized, as she had her own palanquin with a curtain in the front and spider legs to move it around on its own. 

Diamonds are also especially helpful for those with sleepwalking disorders and for those considered to be mentally insane.Somehow, Steven is able to Cry her tears in "Steven's Dream ". Many cultures use divine intervention to explain the origin and creation of gemstones, and diamonds were no exception to this. In Greek mythology for example it was the youth on the island of Crete that disturbed Zeus and who were then (as a form of punishment) transformed into the adamas ( diamonds). Blue takes humans and put them in Pink Diamond's  Zoo...not as a punishment but fro mercy. But she did want Ruby crushed for fusing with Sapphire.

White Diamond

Not much is known about White Diamond. But we can theorize who she is. From when we gather, she was the main diamond in the Great Diamond Authority. So you possible theorize she was a political leader.  Like she the main Diamond, the QUEEN. Seeing how  in the Moonbase mural, it is shown that she has the most colonies.  Here is what we can speculate:

White Diamond is the most powerful of the Diamonds within the Great Diamond Authority.White Diamond controls the actual Homeworld and the star system that it lies in.White Diamond created the other Diamonds to establish new colonies when resources in the Homeworld star system were running low.White Diamond still exerts control over the other colonies by ensuring the network of Galaxy Warps all link to her Homeworld.

But until we get more information this is the best I could do. 

Pink Diamond

The youngest of the Diamonds. Pink Diamond had this thing with kidnapping humans...and putting them in a zoo.Sort of like Rose taking a little too much interest in humans during her many centuries on Earth...but that's just me. 

ANYWAY, Earth was a new colony. The 12 locations of kindergartens, and it's resources. And in the recent StevenBomb, we see that Pink Diamond started a zoo,for what ever reason. Normally in families, the youngest of the siblings get the short end of the stick when it comes to inheritances. White Diamond possibly gave Pink Diamond Earth to start her out and help her grow. And in her Moonbase mural we see she has two planets...or the Earth and the moon. 

If you think about it. The Earth is untapped farm land for gems. But farming can damage the land if you don't know what you are doing. Hence the damaged Kindergarten Prime land looking dead. The Beta is in the desert and we all know hard it is to farm in the desert. 

CONCLUSION 

-White Diamond is the Leader

-Yellow Diamond is the Militant General 

-Blue Diamond is a Cultural Leader

-Pink Diamond was the newest Leader of Agriculture.
