Okay after that one hour special we've gotten more information on what happened to Pink Diamond and that created more questions. So forget every theory I've talked about that involved not just Pink Diamond, but all the Diamonds. The question everyone is now asking : who really shattered Pink Diamond?
If you you're not caught up, I highly suggest you don't read this... but I already know that most you don't give a fuck so let's dive right in.
So after that invigorating speech from Blue Zircon, a lot of people are starting to doubt whether or not Rose was the one who actually shattered Pink Diamond. A lot of fans of the show now believe it was one of the Diamonds, but more specifically Yellow Diamond. But that doesn't mean that the other two Diamonds are innocent either. Some believe that Blue shattered her, and others believe White shattered her, But for what reason? Jealousy... or something else. Let's take a closer look:4
A lot of fans believe either Yellow or White Diamond shattered her, or had her shattered , because let's face it, Blue is literally still broken up about her death but it lead fans to believe she was the one who shattered her, but it was accidental. But how would they pull it off?
Well many people believe that a Diamond straight up shattered her in from of everyone, but wouldn't that spark a larger resistance? So I think one of the Diamonds commissioned another gem, possibly someone from the Famythest, to shapeshift into a Rose Quartz ( Our Rose) and shattered PD. Eyeball said it was her sword; as it saw stated many times before, the sword can only destroy the physical form, but not the gem.
What the real questions is why? Some believe it's Yellow who shattered or had her shattered. Let's face it, her powered are like that of a gem destabilizer , she can destroy a gem's form with a blast of electricity.But why? One reason being that Pink and Blue were close. Like almost Garnet close, Yellow was jealous. I think it's a little petty but there might be another reason... The Rebellion.
Blue Zircon stated,and this is from the episode transcript,"Rose Quartz had been a recognized threat for several hundred years. There were no Rose Quartz soldiers in her entourage and none in her guard. So how did a Rose Quartz, with no business being anywhere near Pink Diamond, get so close to her in the first place? "
How did Rose get close in the first place? She also had Sapphires and agates, and her Pearl. How did she get past a Sapphire's Future Vision? So it had to be someone she trusted. But why shatter her? What did she do to deserve this? Maybe it wasn't out of jealousy, but because she's the one who started the Rebellion to begin with...
