Hogsmeade may be a very populated area, but there's one place where nobody steps foot. You've only seen it from a distance. It's called the Shrieking Shack and it's rumored to be terribly haunted. Either way, that's where you'll have to go. No one will look for Buckbeak there.
You take off from the clearing and pass over the lake, heading toward the village. Buckbeak's claws skim the water and you stare down at your reflection.
Feeling a sudden burst of delight, you scream out "I'M THE KING OF THE WOOOOOOORLD!"
Unfortunately, your exclamation was noticed by several professors who were making their way outside to detain Buckbeak. In a panic, they stun Buckbeak, shooting him down over the water.
KATNISS IS FOUND IN THE LAKE BY THE MERPEOPLE WHO TAKE HER HOSTAGE. THEY REFUSE TO RETURN HER UNLESS THEY CAN BE RELOCATED TO THE MEDITERRANEAN SEA BY SUNDOWN. SADLY, SHE CANNOT BREATHE UNDER WATER FOR THAT LONG, AND NEVILLE IS NOT THERE TO GIVE HER GILLYWEED.
