AUTHOR'S NOTE: I'm so sorry for the late update. I haven't really felt like writing these past couple of days. My grandma passed away and it was her dream to write. I have been struggling with her passing, but to also carry with me her biggest dream. I will try my best to make her proud as she will be a part of this story to pay her the best tribute I can in the only way I know how. I talked about her in my previous story Right Now. She is the grandmother that was all about learning new things and books. Her character is a 100% her in real life and she will be there later in the story.
Thank you for the support. I wouldn't be where I am in life without every single one of you and her. You are each making me extremely happy. I could never thank you enough.
Lots of love,
Virginie -xx-
P.S. I put Niall's new song, This Town, because I love it SO much and it brings me peace in my grief.

Virginie's Point Of View
September 14th
I had to calm myself a lot after figuring out that Cheryl is indeed pregnant. I am ecstatic about this wonderful news. I can't stop myself from smiling. Liam is going to be a Daddy. There are no words that can explain the amount of joy I feel inside of me. She specifically told me no one else knows so I am trying my best to be contained and act like nothing major and amazing is going on. I could read on Cheryl's face she was happy to have someone to share it with. Unfortunately, we couldn't talk further detail, but I made sure that keeps me updated on everything, that I was there for her in anyway I can. I even offered to do little feet massages. Who can refuse that?
Things are a lot more interesting when dinner comes that I expected. I didn't want it to be awkward and it wasn't. It was mainly Niall, Liam and Harry talking, being the shouty mouth they are. I get it. It has been a while since they've seen each other. They began doing music again on their own and they meet frequently. That's what I've learned, but it's not frequent enough for Niall. He has been the one opening up to Cindy about that and I know Liam feels the same, but doesn't say it. I guess that with the engagement and the pregnancy he had better things on his mind.
I'm listening to them, very interested in Niall's golf tournaments' stories, but I feel my phone vibrating. I immediately frown, hoping it isn't Jake calling me to ask a stupid question he should know the answer about because I'm doing his job at his place. It isn't. It's a video chat request from my Mom. I get all excited and pick up as I push the chair away from the table to stand up.
"Allo maman!" I greet Mom and everyone is there, Daddie and Bie.
"Allo ma grande!" My parents say and it's only then I'm hit by how much I miss them. "Bonne fête!"
I'm very happy they called me to wish me a happy birthday. It makes me feel warm inside and seeing them makes me feel so good. I was about to walk away from the table but Matt stands next to me and comes near me to see them.
"Bonsoir à vous. Comment allez-vous?" He greets them and asks how they are.
"Matt!" They all say and it is the most beautiful thing I have heard. I feel all the love they have for him and it truly is the best birthday gift I could have today.
