Virginie's Point of View

January 9th

I throw myself on my bed once I told my family I was going to sleep. It takes everything in me to get up and strip to slide between the sheet, but the cold feels so great against my skin I can't help but moan to the comfort. I sigh deeply and snuggle against the big brown teddy bear Liam bought for Christmas two years ago.

I can't believe what has happened in my life these last couple of hours. Thinking it all back makes me miss Harry terribly. I think about emailing him, but I decide to Skype him instead. I want to see his lovely face and I don't care too much about waking him up.

His name lights up my screen as I send him a video chat request. True to the habit I had with Matt, I instantly reach out for my headphones and plug them in. He answers in no time and he actually sees me struggle to untie the knot in them. He smiles at me until I am all set and his smooth voice resonates through my ears.

"Hey Angel. How was your flight? How is the family?" He asks me with his usual slow tone and it comforts me as it is so peaceful.

"The flight was good. I slept through most of it." I only say not to concern him that I cried myself to sleep to the sound of his album as I was scrolling through the pictures on his phone. "The family is doing very good, considering what is happening... My parents were so surprised to see me. It was very heart warming and it got pretty emotional. Dad finally told us the whole truth on his mother's health and we are heading to Sherbrooke to see her tomorrow."

"I wish I could be there for you

"I wish I could be there for you..." He whispers as he looks at the ceiling of the bedroom for a moment.

"You are."

"No, I am not."

"In more ways that you can think of, you are, Harry. And I love you for wanting to be there for me, but it was the right decision for you to stay. How was your dinner with Jeff and Glenne?" I quickly change the subject.

"It was nice. I saw Roman Kemp."

"Isn't he the guy from Capitol FM?"

"Yeah."

"I love his show. He is so funny. Anyway... You were saying?"

"We bumped into each other into the restaurant. He was there with his ex girlfriend, kind of trying to keep the relationship friendly. It was nice seeing him."

"What did you guys talk about?"

"Just catching up. I will be on his radio show next week, so we talked about that too. It appears I will be doing quite the radio station tour this week and the next. I'll be on Grimmy Friday morning."
