Virginie's Point of View

February 4th

I leave the bedroom before Harry as he is getting dressed again.  I flatten my shirt with my hands to not hint in any way the loving and consuming sex we just had.  It was amazing.  We are both so utterly happy that it made all this carnal pleasure a greater experience.

I make my way back to the kitchen to look at the dinner cooking in the oven for the few minutes that must be left, but I stop on my way as I peeked inside a room next to ours.  It's another bedroom.  It isn't heavily furnished and I think it could be a great nursery.

I get in and turn on the light to make my imagination run with plans for this room.  I walk to the bed and push it each nightstand further away to slide the bed in the corner of the room where I end up pushing all the furniture to.  The room seems suddenly a lot bigger.

"What's all that noise, Gyns?"  I hear him say from the corridor.  "Are you in there?"

I see his face sliding in the small opening of the door.  His smiles widens beautifully when he finds me.  He gets in and closes the door the way it was before, making his way to me.  I turn around and look thoroughly at the room and absentmindedly put a finger between my teeth.  My mind runs wild with plans, unsurprisingly.  I point the wall perpendicular from the door.

"I was thinking about maybe painting something big and colourful and imaginative on this wall, animals, a forest, anything.  A big murale, I don't know how to translate it in English, but something with lots of forms.  I heard somewhere that for the first months, baby are appealed to forms and can only see black and white."  I quickly look at him and go on with my ideas, being very gesticulative.  "We could put the crib there, right in the middle.  That way, when we look at it, the wall could seem like the child's dreams or imagination on the wall.  That way, we can keep the frog theme for his room in London.  We'll have to baby proof all of the house, by the way.  I think I would like to have a big comfy carpet right here, in the middle of the room, so we can sit and play with him.  He can have all of his toys over there.  We'll need a changing table too, oh, and a stroller and-"

I could have went on forever, getting more excited by the second, but Harry's chuckles makes me turn around to look at him.  He smiles so gloriously he is practically glowing.

"We'll get all of that tomorrow, Gyns.  You can calm down."

"This child is going to be spoiled."  I smirk and ravish already of all the stuff I am going to buy him.  "Well, if that's OK with you, maybe that's not the way you want to raise your child...  I don't know...  I wouldn't want to step on your toes.  I should have already bought clothes and at least a few things to be ready, like organise Kirsten a shower.  We haven't done a thing."

"Gyns, relax.  We didn't even know the sex before today."  Harry laughs at me and takes my hands to pull me closer to him.

"I know, but how can you be taken seriously for the custody if we are not ready?"  I let out as it is a big concern of mine that his request will not be accepted and they might have to debate it in court.

"Don't worry. Tomorrow, you, me and Mum will spend the whole day shopping for everything."  He reassures me and holds me to his chest.
