Cadet Vs Humanitys Strongest Soldier

(Y/N)'s POV

"(Y/N) wake up!" Sasha yelled, I groaned getting up,

"Why?" I asked rubbing my eyes,

"All the food is going to be gone" she whined, I sighed before standing up and getting changed in my uniform, rolling up my sleeves, Sasha dragged me out of the room and down the the Mess hall, we got our breakfast before sitting down with the gang, the gang consists of Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Sasha, Connie, Christa, Ymir and Horseface, I mean Jean,

"(Y/N), Captain Levi is staring at you again" Ymir commented, I looked over to the table to see him full on glaring at me, I smirked before turning my attention back to Eren, who was explaining something but I wasn't paying attention until I heard someone yell in pain outside the hall, I got up to investigate to find two brats fighting amongst themselves I pulled them apart and got in between them holding them both at arms distance, yet they both tried to get each other,

"Give it up or I'll be the last worry you have" I threatened, one of them swung for the other but hit me instead, I took a deep breath giving it my all not to murder them both, "I'll let that slide this once-" I stated before I was punched in the jaw, I growled slamming both of their heads together then storming back into the Mess hall, I sat back down and grabbed the glass of water.

"Someone remove that glass from (Y/N) before it breaks" Connie demanded, I squeezed a little too hard and it cracked into pieces, I sighed before getting up and throwing it in the rubbish before walking back over to the table

"How's your hands?" Christa asked,

"They're fine Christa. Let's go start training early before shorty yells at us for being late" I sighed, they all nodded and put away their dishes and following me outside, we was stretching when Captain Shorty approached us,

"You brats are early for once" he commented, I sighed "Pair up, practise your combat" he ordered, everyone was able to pair up but me, Mikasa and Armin, Jean and Eren, Connie and Sasha, Christa and Ymir, I sat down and looked at my hands before Shorty came up to me, I stood up

"What do you think your doing (L/N)?" He asked,

"Nothing" I replied crossing my arms,

"Exactly. I told you to train" he snapped,

"Fine then. Prepare yourself" I retorted as I took off my jacket and threw it aside,

"Excuse me cadet but I-" I cut him off with a strong kick to his stomach area, he stumbled backwards before looking up at me smirking.

"Not bad (L/N), for a first blow at least" he praised before coming to punch me which was too easy to see but it was closely followed by a kick that landed in my side, "Defences up at all times" he asserted before I growled swinging a punch at him however he caught my arm and looked at it, "Cut yourself?" He asked, I kicked him in stomach which made him fall over on his back, so I pinned him to the floor

"Defences up at all times, Captain" I teased, he rolled his eyes before flipping us so he was on top, "Always have to be the one in control" I smirked, he got up and helped me up after him, he looked at my hands then grabbed my jacket, dusting it off handing it me

"Follow me" he ordered before leading the way to his room, I rolled my eyes before following him inside, "Sit" he demanded, I did and he went over to his cupboard and pulled out a first aid kit, he came back over and bandaged both of my hands before putting the kit away and leaning against his desk, "Want to explain why your hands were cut, cadet?" He questioned,

"Two brats were fighting outside the hall this morning so I separate it, they both continued and got me instead so I contained my anger went back in the hall got my glass and squeezed a little too hard" I explained making him chuckle before leaning towards me.

"Brats, you say?" He asked, normally I wouldn't be intimidated but I am since he's in my personal bubble, I nodded "What's the matter (Y/N)? Scared?" He smirked,

"No, why would I be-" I scoffed before being cut off by his lips on mine, he pulled away before dismissing me, I walked out extremely confused, I went to the stables to my horse and got her out before walking her around, we stopped at a tree where began to pace, "So Captain Shorty kissed me, what the hell does that mean? Does he likes me or something? Do I like him? No, wait that's pathetic, most girls like him because he's humanity's strongest soldier" I rambled.

"I am thank you very much" someone commented behind me, I rolled my eyes at the response already knowing who it was, "Talking to your horse is a sign of going insane" he asserted,

"Who do you suppose I talk to? All the others are too young for this crap" I retorted facing him, he wore a smirk on his face,

"You could always talk to me" he replied,

"Yeah that sounds great. Let's talk about Captain shorty to Captain Shorty himself" I chuckled making his smirk widened,

"You were talking about me? How cute" he mocked making me roll my eyes,

"I'm gonna leave..." I trailed off before walking past him, he grabbed my arm pulling me before grabbing my face and kissing me again, this time I was able to kiss back which made him smirk into the kiss before pulling away,

"I think you've just answered your question" he stated, I rolled my eyes

"I guess I have" I replied before walking away to the stables with a smirk on my face.
