Old Friends

(Y/N)'s POV

I was drumming my finger tips on my steering wheel as I drove to my family's Lake house, we was having a get together for my Dad's 65th birthday, although I did wonder if the Ackerman family knew about this or still owned the Lake house that was next to ours, it had been years since we last came here as a family, I smiled as I pulled up outside and I saw my (adopted) brothers with their wives and children, hugging each other, I got out of the car

"Auntie (Y/N)!" Petra, my eldest brother Erwin's only child, exclaimed as she ran over to me giving me a hug,

"Heya Petra" I greeted before she let go and mingled with the rest of her cousins, I walked over to my brothers and their wives, who I was meeting for the first time since their weddings,

"(Y/N), it's so good to see you" Erwin smiled giving me a hug, I pulled away only to be hugged by his wife, Zoe

"Nice to see you too Zoe" I chuckled making her laugh, I pulled away and looked at my younger brother and his pregnant wife, "A third?!" I exclaimed looking at them, they nodded "Eren honestly. Mikasa won't be able to have as many kids as you want" I laughed as I hugged them both

At least one of us got to marry to our childhood best friend.

Myself and Mikasa were sat out on the porch watching the kids play,

"Still not found a man?" Mikasa asked, I sighed shaking my head

"They're not good enough" I answered, she chuckled

"You mean their not Levi" she retorted making my eyes widened,

"W-what?" I stuttered making her chuckle

"(Y/N), we use to spend every summer up here together" she asserted looking over to the other Lake house,

"What's that got to do with Levi?" I asked,

"He's my cousin. You don't think I wouldn't find out about your rendezvous with him" she smirked, I hid my face in my hands,

"You haven't told anyone have you?" I questioned,

"Don't worry" she chuckled before a car pulled up outside the other Lake house and a man got out in a huff before storming inside,

"Say how come he didn't come to yours and Erens wedding?" I asked.

"He did. Didn't you see him?" She replied, I shook my head making her sigh

"How's he been?" I asked,

"Why don't you find out yourself?" She retorted making me raise an eyebrow, "That was him just then" she informed pointing towards the car.

"Maybe tomorrow. The car travel made me tired" I stated getting up, she nodded before getting up herself and going inside, "Petra! Armin! Sasha!" I called out, Sasha and Armin came up on to the porch "Time for bed. Grandad and Grandma will be here tomorrow" I demanded making them cheer before they ran into the house, I went down by the Lake and notice Petra staring into the water, "Petra?" I asked, she stood up wiping her face making me go over to her, she looked towards me and I sighed, she had been crying, I pulled her into a hug and she broke down, I stroked her head comforting her, her legs gave away and she fell to her knees, I sat down and put my arm around her, "What's up?" I asked,

"Gunther cheated on me and broke up with me" she cried, my fists clenched as 'Protective Auntie' mode engaged,

"Do you need me to beat his ass?" I questioned making her laugh as she nodded, I made her look at me, "Don't waste your tears on guys like him. Trust me from experience" I asserted wiping her tears, she smiled
