Laura's POV
I groaned as I sat up in bed holding my head, "You got quite a beating, darling" Levi said, I sighed "I know, love" I say sitting on the edge of the bed, I looked down to see bandages around my shoulder, stomach and legs, "Isabel and Furlan. Who are they?" I asked, his head shot up, "They did this?" He asked, I nodded "They're my bodyguards" he said.

"Well they didn't do a good job to say I got you" I say smirking, he nodded "I'll remember to up my guard should I ever go back" he said, I stood up and put on some leggings and a hoodie "You will. If you put the key parts together and unlock the vault" I say going over to the door, "Is that seriously all you want? The vault?" He asked, "Amongst other things. Yes" I say leaving the room with him beside me, I lead him to Armin's room before knocking on the door, I heard movement before Armin came to the door in a mess.

I raised an eyebrow, "I'm not even going to ask. Where are the key pieces?" I asked, he went back inside before giving me a bag, "Thank you" I say leaving and getting in a car, Levi got in the passenger seat, I held a gun to his head "Put them together" I say before setting off, "They is no need to threaten me, darling" he said before putting the pieces together, I put the gun away "Where are we going?" He asked, "Erwin's never been so set on an assignment before. Whatever's in that vault must be important, so I'm gonna get it first" I say.

"You're going behind your boss' back" he said, I shrugged "I've done it plenty of times. Never bothered me before" I say and he smiled, "You're just wanting me to be free" he said, I raised an eyebrow "Now why would I want you to be free. I was just coming to terms with your company" I say smirking, "Because you love me" he said making stop the car dead, "Now what gives you that idea?" I asked turning to look at him.

"You saved me. You looked after me. You threaten Jaeger when he was gonna torture me. And you wanted me under your custody" he said, I sighed before turning back to face the road and hitting the gas pedal speeding, "So am I right?" He asked, I ignored him and my grip tighten on the wheel, You'll be incapable of love. "Laura?" He asked, You're a slut! "Breen?!" Levi yelled, Who lifts up men's hopes! "Laura are you there?!" Levi said, You're most pathetic excuse for a daughter! "Shut up!" I yelled, "Darling?" Levi asked, I sighed before pulling into a motel and putting a wig on.

I got a room and he was sat on the bed while I was pacing around, Incapable of love. Slut. Pathetic. I was pulled from my thoughts when Levi grabbed my hand pulling me into his chest, "What's going through your mind, darling?" He asked, "It's nothing serious" I say, "It seems serious since you was zoned out in the car and you were pacing" he said, I pulled away "Why don't you hate me!? I kidnapped you! Murdered people! Yet you're still nice!" I yelled running my hands through my hair.

"I don't hate you because I've come to love you over your flaws" he said, I scoffed "My flaws?! They're not my flaws! They're my life!" I yelled sitting down on the bed, he crouched down in front of me, "I don't deserve you" I sighed, he took my face in his hands, "You deserve something good in your life" he said before leaning in, I met him half way wrapping my hands around his neck, he climbed up on top of me not breaking the kiss, he broke away and smiled at me before I pulled him back in.

We arrived at the Vault on the Castle grounds, Levi put the key into the lock and stood next to me as we watched it open, he held my hand before we went inside to find skeletons everywhere, I raised an eyebrow "I don't get it. Why's Erwin so eager to get in here?" I say looking around, my eyes caught some light so I went over and moved a boulder out of the way revealing a room full of gold, "This? It's just gold?" I say kicking it, "It's not just any gold, Laura. It's ancient gold. From years ago" Erwin said from behind me.
