Underground | Part 1

Prompt; You live in the Underground but you get captured alongside Levi, Furlan and Isabel

(Y/N) POV

I was currently running away from a merchant who I had stole bread and fruit from, I managed to escape him by running down an alley and into an abandon house, I had basically been looking after myself since my Mother gave birth to me, dumped me on my Father's doorstep never to be seen again, my Father cared for me until he died, I was 5 at the time.

I heard a noise from the next room making me grow curious, I pulled out my knife which was in the back of my pants before going to investigate, I went in and heard a scream

"Please don't hurt me" she cried, I sighed before putting the knife away.

"What are you doing here kid?" I asked, she looked no older than 7, she didn't reply, I sighed "Are you hungry?" I asked offering her the bread, she took it and by the way she ate it she hadn't had food in a while "What's your name?" I asked, she looked up to me

"Isabel" she answered, I was only just able to catch it

"Isabel what?" I questioned,

"Isabel Magnolia" she replied, I stuck out my hand

"Well it's to meet you Isabel, I'm (Y/N) (L/N)" I greeted, she shook it before I helped her up, "Why are you here?" I asked,

"I have no where else to go" she cried as she hugged me, I was taken back at first but stroke her head attempting to comfort her, I pulled away and went to her level,

"How about you stay with me?" I offered wiping her tears, her eyes lit up

"Are you sure?" She asked, I nodded

"It would be nice to have someone to live with" I replied making her smile, I stood up and took her hand in mine before leading her to mine, on the way we was stopped

"There she is" A man asserted pointing to Isabel, I put myself in front of her

"What so you want with her?" I growled,

"That brat stole my fruit!" He retorted something snapped inside me, I gave Isabel the fruit I was holding,

"Isabel, close your eyes" I demanded,

"I don't want to" she whined,

"Isabella, close them. I don't want you to see this" I ordered, she nodded before closing them, I pulled out my knife

"She's a kid. She doesn't know better" I snarled making them clench their fists before charging at me, I rolled my eyes, slicing the neck of one then violently stabbing the other in the chest, I put the knife back before going over to Isabel, "Isabel you can open them now" I sighed, she did and looked at the men, I turned her head back to me "Don't look at them vile creatures" I commented taking her hand and leading her home.

"How old are you?" Isabel asked,

"15" I answered,

"I'm 7" she smiled, I ruffled her hair "Where are your parents?" She asked, I froze

"Never met my Mother. Father died when I was 5" I explained, she looked at the ground

"I'm sorry" she apologised, I lifted her chin up making her look me in the face,

"Don't worry about it. I've got a sister now" I stated making her smile.

We were currently running away from a merchant we stole food from, we got away from them like we always do, I sighed before noticing Isabel going over to something on the ground, she picked it up and brought it over.

"The poor thing is stuck down here" she pouted showing the bird, I shook my head,

"You're not doing it. I won't allow it" I demanded,

"But-" she was cut off by the sound of gas, we look up to see the 'thugs' flying around with their 3Dimensional gear,

"Show offs" I scoffed but Isabel was looking in awe,

"They look so free" she commented making me roll my eyes,

"They're not exactly free since they're still Underground. Come on" I retorted leading her home.

I was asleep before I heard the front door was opened and closed, I got up sighing before rubbing my eyes and getting my knives then going to follow Isabel to the stairs to the surface, she ran back into me making us tumble to the ground, I heard distant yelling making her eyes widened,

"Run. Don't look back just run" I ordered getting up, she went to object but closed her mouth before nodding and running away, the men came around the corner.

"Hey! You! You seen a kid run by?!" One of them yelled,

"Yeah but you're not getting her" I asserted,

"And who are you? Her mother" he chuckled, I let out a low growl before punching him in the nose, he stumbled back into his men "You bitch!" He exclaimed, I shrugged before his men attacked me,

"Wait, we could us her" the 'leader' commented, I was too tired to fight against their grip as they dragged me in the direction Isabel ran.

"Hey I found her" one of them alerted, my eyes widened before I was thrown into the wall, I looked up the steps to see two men and Isabel on the floor,

"(Y/N)!" Isabel yelled,

"Now, I'll take that brat off your hands" he laughed, I looked towards Isabel and she had tears in her eyes.

"Isabella close your eyes" I demanded, I have never wanted her to see me kill someone, she always knew what was going to happen though when I called her Isabella, she did so as I pulled out my knives slicing the necks of the men who had hold of me making the 'leader' turn around,

"I'll kill you for what you did" he snarled coming towards me but stopped dead and fell as I threw a knife into his neck, I walked over to him pulling the knife out before wiping it and placing it back of my pants before going over to Isabel,

"Isabel?" I asked crouching down to her, ignoring the two men,

"(Y/N)" she sighed in relief as she gave me a hug avoiding to squash the bird, I stood up to the two men

"Thanks for nothing" I commented making them raise an eyebrow.

"It was your sister who barged in here" the dark haired one retorted, I squared up to him,

"Watch your mouth, show off" I growled as I recognised them as the ones who fly around, I noticed Isabel's eyes glow up, before the light hair guy help her up and fixed the birds wing,

"Wow you're really god at that" Isabel complimented, while myself and the dark haired guy had a stare off,

"I'm Isabel Magnolia. That my big sis, (Y/N) (L/N)" Isabel introduced making me roll my eyes.

"Furlan Church. That's Rivaille, or Levi" Furlan replied

"What kind of name is Rivaille?" I mocked,

"What kind of name is Annabeth?" He snapped back, I crossed my arms before Isabel came in between us,

"Apologies. She doesn't make friends that easy" Isabel apologised,

"I am fabulous at making friends" I retorted breaking the stare with Rivaille,

"Obviously" he scoffed making me glare at him,

"Rivaille you better shut it" I warned,

"You're in MY house" he retorted, I rolled my eyes before walking over to the door

"Isabel we're leaving" I demanded,

"Coming sis. Bye bros!" She exclaimed chasing me, I shook my head, Rivaille, you do make me curious.
