Alex

Catch Me Weeping all slowly enter the stage, all except for Petal. She shakes her hair down side stage before she runs onto the stage, the boys start playing their longest intro, pumping up the crowd that was screaming, recognizing the band.

When we were announcing the tour and asking who should tour with us, many replies were Catch Me Weeping, A Day To Remember, and so on. We checked into Catch Me Weeping, a band we hadn't toured with yet, and we liked them a lot, chosing to tour with them.

It was mainly my suggestion that pulled.

She slides in, her mic in hand.

"I found a pile of polaroids
in the crates of a record shop,
They were sex-sexy lookin' back.
From a night that time forgot, hmm.

"Boy he was somethin debonair in 1979,
And she had Farrah Faucet gair.
Carafes of blood red wine, hmm.

"In the summertime
In the summertime.

"Oh don't you wonder when the light begins to fade,
And the clock just makes the colors turn to grey?
Forever younger growing older, just the same.
All the memories we make, will never change.

"We'll stay drunk, we'll stay tan, let the love remain
And I swear that I'll always paint you
Golden days!
Golden days!
Golden days!
Golden days!"

God, I'm so stupid for still thinking about her. It was one time. One night. Small kisses, pure bliss.

When they finished the song, the crowd wooped and cheered, Petals smile was unmissable.

"So, you know how we were listed as suprised guests?" Silas asks, chuckling. "It's because she's in love with All Time Lows music."

My heart flutters, even if I already knew that, it still makes me happy to hear.

Petal blushes. "So they weren't able to announce who we were, because she would definitely freak out." He finishes.

"Thanks for having us out. I'm exstatic to be here! I'm Petal, and this is the band Catch Me Weeping!"

They play about five more songs, "That was amazing! Thankful for this and you guys! Have a wonderful night!" Petal blows a kiss to the crowd as the lights turn off as they walk of stage with their guitars and amps, Petal helping the drummer grab his things and then our techs start setting up. "That was an amazing crowd!" Petal says to the guys and hugs them tightly.

"You did amazing, you guys. I'm proud of you." Ashland comments. While they were preforming, he looked at Petal the entire time. I'm sure that he has a crush on her.

We go on stage and we start playing Somethings Gotta Give. About eight songs later,  "Alright, we're gonna slow it down, alright?" The crowd cheers.

Our guitar tech brings out my accoustic, and the lights settle down a little. I start strumming to Remembering Sunday.

"He woke up from dreaming and put on his shoes
Started making his way past 2 in the morning
He hasn't been sober for days

"Leaning now into the breeze
Remembering Sunday, he falls to his knees
They had breakfast together
But two eggs don't last
Like the feeling of what he needs

"Now this place seems familiar to him
She pulled on his hand with a devilish grin
She led him upstairs, she led him upstairs
Left him dying to get in

"Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me

"Even though she doesn't believe in love,
He's determined to call her bluff
Who could deny these butterflies?
They're filling his gut

"Waking the neighbors, unfamiliar faces
He pleads though he tries
But he's only denied
Now he's dying to get inside

"Forgive me, I'm trying to find
My calling, I'm calling at night
I don't mean to be a bother,
But have you seen this girl?
She's been running through my dreams
And it's driving me crazy, it seems
I'm going to ask her to marry me." I was preparing to sing Juliets part, continuing on.

"The neighbors said she moved away
Funny how it rained all day
I didn't think much of it then
But it's starting to all make sense
Oh, I can see now that all of these clouds
Are following me in my desperate endeavor
To find my whoever, wherever she may be."

"Alex be prepared, Petals singing with you." Brian says loudly in the earpiece.

"I'm not coming back,
I've done something so terrible,
I'm terrified to speak!
But you'd expect that from me.
I'm mixed up, I'll be blunt.
Now the rain is just
Washing you out of my hair."  A melodic voice starts, belting out the lyrics like she owned the entire crowd, and they flowed with her.

And I couldn't help but to watch.

"And out of my mind!
Keeping an eye on the world,
So many thousands of feet of the ground!
I'm over you now I'm at home in the clouds, towering over your head..."

"I guess I'll go home now,
I guess I'll go home now,
I guess I'll go home now,
I guess I'll go home." I finish, a littke saddened, but I cheer up quickly seeing how happy my fans are.

"Give it up for Petal Shay!" I shout, clapping as I set the guitar on a stand. "Wasn't that amazing?" She bows.

"Thank you, Alex."

"No problem, girlie." I smile, and then say something in her ear away from the mic, "Come out with us tonight, you and your band?"

She nods and smiles before walking off. "Can we get another round of applause for Petal?" I watch her as she walks off, and Jack makes a joke, making us all laugh.
