"No," she says softer. "A hotel room with two beds. He refuses to sleep alone, like someone else I know," she giggles.

"Will you come home?" Jason begins to beg. "Tomorrow is Christmas and I want to be with my family. I had something special planned, Nes. You would've loved your present," he mumbles as tears form in his eyes.

"I will come," she agrees after moments of silence. "As long as you apologize to Jasper."
