Jason
"Happy birthday, dear Leigh. Happy birthday to you," everyone sings.
Blows out her candles with a grin. I snap many pictures of it as Nezther takes a video. Out of the corner of my eye, I see someone head for the stairs. I see it's Kinsley and I go after her. "Hey," I grab her arm as she stands at the bottom of the stairs. "What's wrong? Don't you want to be with everyone?"
She shrug, pulling her arm from me. "I'm not in much of a party mood, Jace," she murmurs.
"Is something wrong?"
She looks up into my eyes for a few seconds before sighing. "Leigh said she didn't want to go out with me tonight. It hurt my feelings a lot."
"Don't take it personal," I pull her in for a hug. "Nessie does that to me all the time. I'll say we should ask you guys to watch the kids for a night so we can go on a date but she declines every time. If it's really bothering you, I can have Nes talk to her. I don't want you to subject yourself to isolation because of that, though."
She rests her head on my shoulder. "I was gonna go hang out with Jasper and the girls."
"They're probably sleeping. How about we go out back and dance? It's been awhile since we've done something together," I squeeze her gently.
"Alright," she pulls back. "Lets go."

I chuckle when I see Kinsley passed out on the couch and Leigh in the chair next to the couch. Nezther continues to clean the connected dining room. "Babe," she comes into my sight. "Wanna just go to bed? I can clean this tomorrow morning," she yawns.
I sweep her off her feet, carrying her upstairs bridal style. She giggles, wrapping her arms around my neck and peppering my face with kisses. "You're so cute," I kiss her nose as I push open our door. "I love you so much."
"I love you more," she giggles as I toss her on the bed. "Come here," she opens her arms to me.
I lay down on top of her, nuzzling my face against her neck. I'm careful not to put too much weight on her belly. "I'm so tired," I whisper.
Nezther kisses my head. "So lets get ready for bed."
The next morning was spent cleaning up the first floor. Leigh helped us after she took the kids to school and the babysitters while Kinsley was nowhere to be seen.
"Do you guys want to go out to eat? I'm craving ribs," Nezther looks at Leigh and I.
"You guys go," Leigh mumbles. "I have work in a couple hours."
"Okay, I have to come back and work too."
I wrap my arm around Nezther's waist. "They haven't called me yet so I might not have to go back until tomorrow."
Justin - one week later
"Justin!" Christina squeals as I enter the house after work.
I grab her waist as she jumps on me. "Hi," I chuckle as I kiss her cheek. "Are you all packed?" She nods happily. "Are your bags in my room?"
She shakes her head with a frown. "I couldn't get them up the stairs. They're in the living room."
I set her down on her feet. "No problem, babe."
"I'm so excited to meet your brother," she whispers, leaning up to me.
I give her a chaste kiss on her lips. "I'm excited for you, baby. They'll love you."
Two days later the cab was pulling up to Jason's house. We both excitedly make our way up to the house. Jason said they wouldn't be home, but Leigh would so just let myself in.
"Leigh?" I call out. I get no response so we just walk in. "She might be up in her room. Lets go look."
And I'll never forget the day I walked in to see my ex fiancée with her face buried between Leigh's thighs.
