Jason

Nezther walks into my room with her giraffe onesie on and her pacifier in her mouth. "Hi, Daddy!" She runs over to my side. She hums as she lays her head on my thighs and sits in the chair next to me.

"Hey, Princess," I comb my fingers through her hair. "What's up, babygirl? How're my babies?" I rest my hand on her back.

"Oh, deez ones?" She sits up to point at her belly. I nod, smiling at her bubbly persona as of now. "Dey's good, Daddy. I tolded Jay Jay that they're girls. I had to tell someone, I hate secrets," she pouts.

"Nes, you just told everyone, sweetheart," Kinsley giggles.

Nezther sits up quickly. "I-I didn't mean it. I'm sorry," her bottom lip starts trembling.

I quickly shake my head. "No, no, baby. It's okay. Do you want to tell them the names we picked out?"

"Mhm!" She climbs in the bed next to me. "One is Gracie Elliot and the of-er one is Jenny Marie," she says happily.

I wrap my right arm around her waist. "And why did we pick those names, beautiful?"

"Grace is my middle name," she smiles, "Elliot was my childhood best friend's name. Um-"

"And why are we naming her after him?"

"Because he committed suicide when I was fir-teen," she whispers. "Jenny because Daddy's mommy's name was Jenny. And Marie because his aunt's name is Maria!" She claps, becoming proud of herself.

I nod, smiling over at her. "Very good, baby."

"OH!" She shouts. "I has to tell you a secret, Daddy," she whispers, leaning down to my ear.

"Okay, Princess. Go for it," I whisper back.

She presses her lips to my ear. "Jay Jay tried to kiss me. But I scream 'No, Jay Jay!' and walked away," she tells me.

I look up at Justin. "Get out," I growl.

He furrows his eyebrows. "Wha-"

"I SAID GET OUT!" I scream as Nessie lays on my shoulder. "GET OUT!"

The nurse comes racing in. "Sir, your heart," she tells me.

Shit, I forgot they're watching my heart rate closely.

Justin stands up from his chair. "I'm sorry," he says before he exits my room.

I hold my babygirl close to me. "Thank you for telling me, babe."

"Dank fu for wistenin', Daddy," as takes my face in her hands and kisses my nose.

Kinsley silently follows Justin out. "What happened?" Leigh asks as Jasper climbs onto my bed.

"Nothing," I sigh. I lean my head back, flashing back to when we first came here.

Flashback

Slowly making my way upstairs, Nezther's quiet sobs become louder as I approach our new bedroom. "Princess," I walk in.
