Kinsley

I hold Jasper on my lap as he watches the movie on the seat in front of me. "Kin?" I look over at Leigh. "Can I ask you something? Like without you getting upset?"

"Of course," I reach over and grab her hand.

"What's different with Nezther and Jason than with you and him?"

I look down at Jasper with a sigh. "He's more in love with her than he was with me," I shrug, "it's simple. When they get into fights, he immediately apologizes in fear that he'd loose her. With me, he couldn't care enough to fear he'd loose me. He's much more affectionate with Nezther, too. If you haven't noticed, he clings onto her like a leech." I look back up at her. "He just flat out loves her more than he ever loved me."

She leans over to press a kiss against my lips. "I'm sorry for asking, Princess," she whispers.

I shake my head, "don't be sorry for being curious."

"Ah! My beautiful grandkids!" Papa Acosta wraps his arms around us all. He kisses my head, then Leigh, and the kids. "It's so good to see you!"

Jason stands off to the side with Nezther. They have their arms wrapped around one another with smiles on their faces. He whispers something to her, making her smile.

Papa lets us go, making his way over to Jason. "My boy," he pulls him in for a hug. They share it for a few minutes before pulling away. "Nezther, you get so much more beautiful every time I see you!"

She giggles, wrapping her arms around him. "Thank you," she kisses his cheek.

"Hey, all of you pay attention. What those McCann's said, was not true. None of you have to hide who you are, got it?"

We all nod. Leigh wraps her arm around my waist and kisses my head. "Merry Christmas, gumdrop," she whispers.

Jasper

Daddy lays on the couch with his head in Mommy's lap. I slowly walk over to them, afraid they'd be mad I'm still awake. "What's wrong, baby?" Mommy looks at me worriedly.

"I's wanna sleep wit'chu," I mumble.

"Come here, little man," Daddy opens his arms to me. I run over and climb against his chest. "You can't sleep here, bud. Mommy and Daddy need to talk about something, but you can lay here for awhile."

"Talk 'bout what?"

"Grown up things, baby. Stuff you don't need to worry about," mommy tells me calmly.

"Is you guys breakin' up?"

Daddy chuckles, "far from it, Jasp. We're actually talking about another baby."

"Jason," mommy whines.

He looks up at her. "I'm sorry, Angel."

"If it's a girl can we name it Valencia!?" I scream excitedly.

Mom shushes me. "Jasper, I'm not pregnant."

"I think it's time for you to go to bed, little man."

I shake my head quickly. "I'll stop! I wanna stay here."

"Then lay down," Mommy tells me.

I walk into Daddy's room. He sits against the headboard with Mommy on top of him. "It's cold in here, why don't you have a shirt on?" I ask as I climb on the bed.

Mom jumps back, her face beat red. "Why didn't you lock the door?" She asks dad as she stands up. She pulls on a robe and walks out to the hallway.

"Jasper," dad sighs, "you need to knock."

"Why was mommy on top of you?"

"We were kissing."

"With your tongues?"

He rolls his eyes. He stands up from the bed. "I told you I want you to nap today. We're going out to dinner tonight and it'll be late. Let's go," he lifts me up. He sets me in my bed and closes my door.
