I slowly open the door to the hospital room. "Go call mommy beautiful," I whisper to Jasper as I set him on the ground.

He runs over to the bed, climbing on the char next to the bed. "Mommy," he shakes her shoulder gently. "Mommy, wake up."

Nezther opens her eyes with a small grunt. "Hi, baby," she pats the space next to her.

"You's beautiful," he kisses her cheek.

"Thank you, bud."

Jasper gasps, making Nes look at him confusedly. "We bring-ed you food!" He exclaims, placing his hands on her.

"No," I snap as I lung towards them. "Don't touch Mommy's tummy."

Nezther looks up at me. "He's okay, baby," she smiles softly. "It's on my side."

I walk to the other side of the bed. "Can I see it?" I grab the loose fitting gown. She nods, watching my hands. I pull the down out from under her, lifting it up. "My Princess," I whisper as I stare at the stitches. "Does it hurt?"

"Only a wittle bit," she mumbles in her baby voice.

I kiss her forehead. "Daddy's gonna come back later after Jasper goes to bed," I whisper.

"No!" Jasper screams as he wraps himself around Nezther's arm. "I's want my momma," he begins crying.

Nessie turns her head slowly. "Only for tonight, baby," she kisses his forehead. "But then you and Kinny are going to stay at the hotel while daddy stays with mommy."

He sniffles, but nods. He buries his face into her side and places his hand on her stomach. "Jasp, move over here," I pay between Nezther's legs. He settles himself with his head on her stomach. I walk around the bed to lay on the untouched side of her. "I love you," I whisper.

She presses a soft kiss to my chapped lips. "I love you too, babe."

I lay my head against her shoulder. A small smile moves across my lips. "How are you feeling?" I rub her leg.

"Numb," she sighs.

"The doctor said you might be feeling-"

"High, yeah, I know. They told me that too."

I kiss my fiancée's shoulder. "Do you want anything, babygirl?"

"No, thank you. Go to sleep," she kisses my cheek.

I let out a groan as Jasper refuses to get into the car. "Jasper, get in the fucking car or so help me God. I'm not in the mood for your shenanigans," I growl.

He crosses his arms before climbing in the back of the cab. "I hate you," he mumbles. "I want mommy."

"Yeah, so do I. Stop with the attitude or you will sit on the couch and do nothing all day," I threaten.

He shrugs, looking down to his lap. "I don't care," he snaps.

I nod, "okay, great. You're going to march into the room, go get ready for a bath- no toys- and then you're going to sit on the couch staring at the fucking wall until I say you can get up. Am I making myself clear?"
