ZUSTIN FANFIC IS OUT NOW!! IT'S CALLED MY SAVIOR!!

Jason

My phone rings, causing me to open my eyes and groan. I glance over to see Nezther isn't in bed and her robe is no longer laying on the chair next to the bed. "Hello?" I answer groggily.

"Jace?"

I sit up, leaning against my elbow. "Kinsley? Where are you? What's wrong?"

"I'm in the bathroom off the kitchen with Leigh and Nezther. I think something's wrong."

I quickly click the end button and run to the door. I make my way down both flights of stairs. "Guys?" I open the door to the bathroom. "What's going on?" Nezther leans her head back against she wall, her eyes closed. Leigh sits in front of my fiancée and Kinsley sits to the right of her. "Anyone?"

Leigh turns to me before she stands up and pushes me out of the room. She comes with me and closes the door behind her. "Kinsley and I were in the kitchen and we heard something fall. We went in there and she was on the floor. The only things she said was "migraine" and "daddy"."

I furrow my eyebrows. I move past her to open the door. "Baby," I kneel down so I can see her face. "Did you fall? Are you hurt?"

"Nu," she whimpers.

"Does your head hurt? Are you baby Nessie or big girl Nessie?" She opens her eyes, blinking rapidly. "Angel?"

She grips Kinsley's arm tightly. "I-I is a baby," she stammers, "m-me is dizzy."

"Alright," I sigh. I grab her waist, pulling her into my lap. "Daddy'll get you some medicine." She wraps her arms around my neck. "You're okay, baby." I stand up and carry her to the kitchen. "Do you want some juice or water?" She just shrugs, making me shake my head. "Stand up for a minute," I set her down on her feet.

She immediately falls backwards, landing on her butt. Her tiny hand reaches up and grabs her forehead. "I-I is so tired," she leans back until she's laying flat on the floor.

I glance back at Kinsley and Leigh. "Baby, come on. We're gonna go to the hospital," I squat down to grab her hand. "Nezther," I squeeze her hand. "Nezther, this isn't funny. You're worrying Daddy." When she doesn't open her eyes, I drop her hand. "Get me a water bottle, a juice box, and the box of Cheez-Itz," I tell the girls. I lift my fiancée off the ground. I kiss her forehead as I unlock the front door. I dash to my car and lay her in the backseat. I slam the door closed with tears streaming down my face.

"I've never seen anything like this," the doctor shakes her head. "This is rare."

"What?"

"Nothing is showing up in her blood tests. We think she needs an MRI on her brain."

I furrow my eyebrows as I hold onto Nezther's cold hand. "Why did she faint though? Do you know the cause of that?"

She shakes her head. "No, we don't. But we'd like to scan her as soon as possible."

I lean down to kiss Nezther's forehead. Her eyes open slightly. "You're gonna have an MRI, baby," I whisper to her.

"No, Daddy. Me wan' you."

"I know, babe. But–"

"WHAT IF THEY SEE HOW CRAZY I AM!?"

I can't help but chuckle. My baby girl is insane, but so am I. "Calm down, sweet pea. Wanna hear a secret?" She nods, pulling me close to her. "Daddy's crazy too."

"But I killed two people," she sniffles.

I look over to see we are now alone. "Daddy kills people for a living, babygirl. They can't see crazy, love. You just have to get through the MRI and then we can go home."

I lock the front door behind me. "Nes," I chuckle when I see her sitting on the floor next to the door. "Angel, stand up," I reach both my hands to her.

"Daddy, you said you'd get me my stuffie," she says as I lift her up. I set her on my hip. "Then I'd get a bath and then we go sleepy!" She exclaims.

I nod, "yes, baby. All of that will happen. We just need to go into the kitchen and go see Kinsley and Leigh."

"But– but," I watch as her bottom lip starts to tremble.

I shake my head. "No, darling, don't cry. Just two minutes, okay? Then Daddy'll take care of you," I kiss her forehead as we enter the kitchen.

"Is she okay!?" Leigh nearly shouts.

I place my baby down on the counter. "She has a long scar going front left side of her brain to the right. Hence why when she gets too stressed, her body shuts down," I explain softly.

"Nessie," Kinsley walks over. "Are you okay?"

She nods, "I'm fantastic, Kin Kin!" She exclaims as she reaches out to her best friend.

Kinsley wraps her arms around Nezther. "Is she going to be okay?" She asks me.

"For the most part," I mumble.

"What does that mean?" Leigh snaps.

I look at Nezther to see her looking around the kitchen with such innocent eyes. "She could drop dead at any moment," I whisper.
