IMPORTANT NOTE, PLEASE READ!!

I love writing this book so much. I also love all of you and how much support you give to me. I never expected this book to blow up and grow like it has, but I am so proud that is did. Now there there are 200 some people reading it, I feel I can make a difference in the world. By incorporating and portraying problems that actually go on in the real world (autism, suicide/depression, gay shaming, slut shaming, harassment) I think it's really making a difference which is allowing you guys to see into these problems of our world today. I honestly love writing this book, I do. But I can't wait for it to be done so you guys can tell me what to fix or what to add or how to make it better, or even just interact more with you. I love you all, babes😘. Enjoy this nice drama filled chapter.

Jasper

I hand Carson his little basketball. He throws it into the small basketball hoop and giggles, clapping his hands when it goes in. I laugh with him just as Mom and Dad come into the room.

"Jasper, Kinny wants to talk to you," Mom says as she sits next to Carson.

I grin, "can I finally be her boyfriend!?" I shout as I run into the dining room.

"Would you like to go on a date, Jasp?" Kinny reaches her hand towards me.

I take it with a nod. "Yes! Am I your boyfriend now!?"

She giggles as we walk to put our shoes on. "No, baby, I'm still with Leigh."

I sigh loudly. "Ugh, Kinny," I walk out the door.

"Babes, I have to talk to you about something. Leigh and I are having a baby."

"But we have enough babies," I furrow my eyebrows.

"But I don't have a baby," she helps me in the car.

"But I'm your baby, you said," I frown as I look away from her.

She sighs heavily, starting to drive. "Jasper, why don't you want me to have a baby? Let's start there," she nods to herself.

"I DON'T NEED TO WATCH OUT FOR SOMEONE ELSE!" I scream. She widens her eyes in surprise. "I have to make sure Jenny and Gracie don't get picked on at school, I have to make sure my baby brother doesn't get hurt or when Mommy has to go to work, I have to make sure that the babysitter isn't hurting or scaring him, and I need to make sure Mommy is okay."

She pulls into the parking lot of our favorite pizza place. "Jasper, you don't have to do any of that," Kinny mumbles. I unbuckle myself and open my door. I walk in without speaking to her. She tells the hostess a table for two. "You know I love you so much," she pulls me into her arms.

"Yeah," I lean my head on her shoulder.

"Can you tell me why you feel like you have to watch out for Momma?"

"I don't want Dad to hit her," I whisper as the waitress comes to the table.

"Good afternoon, guys. I'm Katie and I'll be your server tonight. Can I start you off with some drinks?"

"Yes, a chocolate milk and a sprite, please."

Katie walks away. "He doesn't hit her anymore," Kinsley says to me softly.

"He did when he came home on the days I don't have school," I shrug, moving away from her.

Again, she sighs. I watch as she moves back to the other side of the table where her chair sits. "Let's not think about stuff like this right now. How about we talk about something else? Do you still like that boy in your class?"

I nod. "Yeah, he sits at my table now."

"Justin, please," I hear mommy sob as we enter the house.

I run over to the kitchen. Jay Jay has Carson with a knife to his throat. "Car!" I yell.

"Welcome to the party," Jay Jay laughs.

"Leave him alone," my mom cries out. I walk over to her and hug her tightly. She kisses my head repeatedly. "Stay behind me, okay?" I nod. "Kinsley, you too," she says to Kinny.

"M-M-Ma!" I hear my little brother.

"David and Luca are on their way," Kinsley says to mom.

"I have a plan." Momma says. She kisses my head and stands up off the floor. "Let go of him, Justin."

"Fuck you," he spits back.

Carson sobs when the knife pushes deeper against his skin. "Let him go to Kinsley and I'll do anything you want me to."

"Nes-"

"No," Mommy snaps. "You can hurt me, kill me, do whatever you want to me- but you will not fuck with my family."

Justin let's go of Carson. "Just remember you said that," he chuckles as he shoves my brother to the floor.

His face hits first. I jump up and run to him. "C'mon, Car, let's go to mom," I help him up. His nose gushes blood as he sobs.

Mom pulls him into her arms. "It's okay, baby, Momma's here." She cries as she holds him tightly.

"Get the fuck up, bitch," Justin walks over and hits Mommy's head with the butt end of the knife.

She kisses Carson and stands up. He grins wildly, shoving the shiny item into her belly. "MOMMA!" I scream.

She falls down and holds her tummy. Uncle David shoves Justin onto the floor. Uncle Luca hurts him while Daddy comes into the room. "Okay, babygirl... okay, hold it tight, yeah? A lot of pressure. I'm gonna carry you to the car but you need to keep your hands there," he lifts her off the ground.

"We got this, Jace," Uncle Luca says.

Kinny carries Carson out to the car and I run after them. Jenny and Gracie sit all the way in the back. I climb into the back with them as Kinsley drives and Carson sits with mom and dad.
