The two boys she'd seen came into the room.
The older one made his way forward, reaching his hand out in a gesture of peace.
She noticed the leather bracelet strap on his wrist, a small, carved wooden disc hanging from it. It identified him as a Clansman.
'I trust you,' were the first words out of her mouth.
He seemed taken aback, not expecting to hear those words.
His gaze focused on her blue eyes, his own eyes narrowing slightly.
'Why?'
She wondered whether to tell him about her visions. 'I just do.'
'Are you Liat Axton?'
'Yes.'
'My name is Jedi Ross. Will you come with me, Liat Axton?'
'Yes,' she said again as he helped her to her feet.
