Zan could feel the presence of a medium sized force coming towards Twin Forks.
Yet it didn't feel like a malevolent group.
He could feel the presence of Liat with them.
As he walked to the door of his hut, he confirmed that fact with his own eyes.
Raising his hand in greeting, he saw Liat and approximately half of the people with her do the same.
'I found us some reinforcements. The group we will be fighting has around about three hundred people, from what I saw. If we add these to our side, we'll have about one hundred and fifty people. It evens up the odds a little,' Liat smiled.
'We'll need that,' Zan agreed, then pulled Liat aside.
'Can we trust them?' he asked.
Liat nodded. 'Yes, we can. And I don't expect any challenges to your authority. They didn't, and still don't, have a clear leader.'
Zan simply nodded.
'Then we're good,' he replied.
