Althea kept her hand on Liat's shoulder as she cried.
The girl had obviously seen so much in the War, particularly in the last few days of the Rebellion.
Althea wanted to ease Liat's pain, but didn't know how. She simply didn't know what the girl was like, what she needed, why she cried.
Had she lost someone important to her?
The thought reminded Althea of her son. He was still missing from the mission he'd been sent on so long ago. He'd walked out of the village, and had never been seen again.
Liat's tears began to dry up, and she turned to face Althea.
'I knew Jedi,' she whispered. 'I knew your son.'
