Liat walked up to the opening of Jedi's hut.
She put one foot over the threshold.
'Je-' she began, but stopped when she saw Quinn sitting across the table from Jedi.
There was a look of shock in Quinn's eyes.
'Liat?' he asked, his voice somewhat husky. 'Is that you? They said you were dead?'
He began to stand slowly from the table, both Jedi and Liat watching his every move.
He reached both arms out to Liat, not overly threateningly, but as if he wanted to hug her.
But Liat saw the hilt of the dagger inside his sleeve.
She ducked away from him and ran.
