Jedi knew he needed to give Liat enough time to get to her bow and arrows.

Jedi threw himself at Quinn, tackling him from behind. But it was a bad idea.
Quinn reversed his grip on the dagger, thrusting it deep into Jedi's side before removing it.Yet Jedi's only regret would be leaving Liat alone.
