Jedi understood Liat's fear.
He didn't know what she'd seen, but he knew she would be right.
Jedi knew enough about foresight to know that the visions were not usually wrong.
If Quinn saw her, he would kill her.
Jedi grabbed Liat's hand, pulling her into a standing position.
He pulled her into a hug, then propelled her into the trees, uttering one single influential word.
'Go.'
'But what about you?' Liat asked.
'Quinn won't kill me. Don't worry. Just go. I'll find you,' Jedi told her.
All he could do was watch as she disappeared through the trees, the necklace tangled in her fingers.
