Only when Liat held up the necklace and he saw the name did Jedi realise that he'd never seen his mother's identification necklace.

He reached out and took the necklace from Liat, disentangling it from her long, slender fingers.
Now he knew why he'd felt compelled to wait where they did. He'd been unintentionally finding what was Lost.
He stroked the disc, his fingers outlining his mother's name. Then he offered the necklace back to Liat.
She took it.
