Liat remained above the main forest floor, watching for any sign of Jedi searching for her as he'd promised.
She wondered if she'd managed to stop Quinn's actions, or if she'd merely delayed them.
At worst she'd simply given herself some time to actually process that her old friend would kill her.
At best, she'd given herself and Jedi some warning of Quinn's intentions and some time to deal with them.
Either way, she was alive now, while if she'd stayed with Jedi, she might not be.
That had to count for something.
