Jedi looked to Liat for explanation, his eyes opening wide with his unasked question.
'I have no idea,' she mouthed, looking just as shocked as he felt.
'You seem to know everything else,' he replied, also mouthing the words.
Liat just rolled her eyes in return.
Jedi stood and also ducked into the shadow of the trees.
He had discovered during his training that he could see in the shadows better if he himself stood in the shadows.
'Nothing you do can end this War. It is foretold to continue till the end of time.'
'You are wrong,' Liat spoke out confidently, the flickering flames illuminating her face.
'It will end.'
