Liat sat in the vegetation near a clearing, watching the large group beneath her.
It seemed to be a force of both armies – the Band and the Rebels.
It seemed to be a force that had the power to completely destroy the small force that Zan had gathered over the past few months.
But now, it was likely that it wouldn't get any further. Suddenly, another vision hit Liat.
She saw Quinn's group of Rebels simply milling around the clearing with no clear leadership.
She saw herself approaching them, Emerson by her side.
She saw them disperse to their huts and retrieve their belongings.
She saw them following her to Twin Forks.
Liat opened her eyes and looked at the attacking force with new eyes.
Now she could see a force that could be defeated, with some help.
She smiled to herself and got up to retreat back into the forest.
She had to figure out a way to involve Quinn's Rebels.
