Chapter 14
-Hailee-

I watched as Justin made his way to the front of the room. He stopped in front of the teacher.

"Yes Justin, what this time?" The teacher groaned. I leaned over to the girl next to me.

"I'm guessing this is normal?" I whispered and she laughed.

"Almost every week." She replied. I laughed and turned my attention back to Justin and the teacher.

"So, I was really busy all week and we kinda forgot to do the project." Justin said.

"So, what were you guys so busy with?" The teacher said writing something down in a paper.

"Well, I had to take care of my mom because she was sick and then we went to the fair because it was in town for the week." Justin lied about his mom.

"And what do you want me to do about it?" The teacher snapped.

"Can we turn it in tomorrow? I swear we will have it." Justin begged.

"Whatever." The teacher groaned and Justin turned around and came back to his seat.

"That's how we do." He said and I laughed.

"Good job." I joked and high five him. "But you do know we have to do the whole thing tonight now?" His smile dropped.

"Ah shit."

School ended and me and Hailee were heading to my house too work on our project. We pulled up in front of my house and got out. I opened the front door and we stepped inside.

"Oh my god Justin. This house is huge! My whole house could fit in the living room!" Hailee Said and I laughed.

"Justin is that you?" Mom yelled from the kitchen. She came around the corner into the living room.

"Hailee, this is my mom." I said introducing her.

"Hi, I'm Pattie. And you must be Hailee. I've heard so much about you! You're even prettier than Justin says you are!" Mom sad and pulled Hailee into a hug.

"Mom." I groaned she laughed and gave me a side hug.

"What it's true! You talk about her all the time." She said. Hailee laughed and her cheeks turned red.

"Okay, well were gonna go upstairs and work on our science project." I said.

"Okay! Do you guys want some snacks or anything?" Mom asked.

"Mom. We're fine." I said and we headed upstairs. I led Hailee to my room and shut the door behind us. Luckily I picked up my clothes before school, thanks to mom. Hailee set her stuff down on my bed and then sat down next to it as she looked around.

"This is deffinently a boys room." She said looking at my Toronto maple leafs hockey posters. I laughed.

"Is that a bad thing?" I asked and sat next to her.

"No, hockey's cool." She said.

"It's cool? Hockey's amazing! The best sport." I said and she laughed. "What? You can't come from Canada and not love hockey. It's impossible."

"Alright. But I'm not from Canada so I wouldn't know that." She said looking at me smiling. I laughed. "Alright, lets get started."

"Right. What are we even doing this dumb thing on." I asked. She shrugged.

"I have no idea. We will have to look something up." She replied.

"Grab my laptop and you can look something up." I said and she grabbed my laptop from next to her, opening it.

"Password?" She asked. I hesitated on wether or not I should tell her but did anyway.

"Swag123swag." I told her and she giggled typing it in. "What?"

"That's so you." She said. "Maybe I'll have to make that your contact name in my phone."

"And then I'll change your to...." I started to say but didn't know why to say.

"To what?" She laughed.

"Ah I got nothing." I gave in and looked at her. She was typing something into her phone.

"Done. You're now officially swag123swag to my phone." She said and I laughed as she continued to look for a topic.

"So it has to be on cells of the body so we have to look for a type of cell." She explained as she looked.

"Alright. I'm not good at all this science stuff so, I could help without looking something up." I told her.

"Oh how about the white blood cell?" She asked as of she didn't hear what I just said.

"Okay but I like don't even know what that is." I said and she laughed.

"I'm pretty sure it fights diseases or something like that." She rambled on telling me all this stuff about it, which I'm not going to remember if she asked me about it.

"Okay let's start our poster." She said pulling out a piece of blank paper. She handed me some colors.

"Okay now you color and I'll write the facts." She said. Justin groaned.

"Oh man, this is going to look terrible."

"What color should this be?" Justin asked pointing at the cell we drew on the paper.

"You leave that white Justin. It's not called at white blood cell for nothing." I joked and he laughed.

"Right, then what about this?" He asked point at the title.

"Make it like, red." I said and he pulled out the red marker.

"Oh my god, this thing looks terrible." He said when he finished coloring. "I told you I this was going to be bad."

"Who cares. At least we did it and at least were done." I sighed and turned so I was not laying in my back. We ended up laying next to each other on the floor so it would make it easy for us to both work on the poster. Justin laid on his back still next to me.

"And how long did that take us?" He asked. I pulled out my phone and checked the time.

"Almost three hours." I groaned.

"And it still looks this bad?!" He shouted holding up the poster so we could see it. "It looks like a kindergardener did this!" He joked making me laugh.

"Justin it's fine. We're not going to keep it anyway." I said.

"When we get this back, it's going to look worse because there will be a big letter F on it." He said.

"Maybe. Maybe not." I said.

"You know where this would look great?" He said fast.

"Where would it look great?" I said.

"In the trash can!" He shouted and I laughed and we heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" Justin yelled and Pattie opened the door poking her head in.

"I made some snacks if you guys would like to eat." She said holding out a tray of snacks.

"That sounds great!" Justin said hopping on his feet and grabbed the tray from her. "Thanks mom."

"You're welcome baby." She said and shut the door. Justin sat back down next to me, placing the tray of snacks in front if us.

"Yummy."

"Thank you for the snacks Pattie. It was great." I said as me and Justin walked out if the door, to his car. It was now almost ten. Me and Justin ended up playing vidoegames for hours. I beat him once out of almost twenty games. That's when I got a phone call from my pissed parents. Justin pulled in front of my house.

"Alright, well, I'll see you tomorrow." I said gathering my stuff.

"Yeah, and today was fun." He said.

"Yeah it was." I said as I looked at him. His beautiful eyes melted into mine and I gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"You missed." He said. I gladly smiled and then kissed his lips. His plump lips felt perfect on mine, and I didn't want to stop, but sadly had to. I pulled away and opened the door. I climbed out and turned to look at him one more time.

"See ya later swag123swag." I joked making him laugh. I shut to car door and walked to the door. I waved at Justin before he pulled away and was out of sight. I opened the door slowly, not wanting to hear what awaits on the other side.
