Chapter 33

-Hailee-

Today couldn't have come any sooner. I saw currently waiting impatiently for Stephanie to come and pick me up so we could go to my doctors appointment. I tapped my foot on the ground. I had one hand placed on my stomach knowing there could possibly be a baby in there in a few months. I was already sure that I was actually pregnant thought. Considering the consistent morning sickness and the missed period. Justin still believes we were going to the mall to have a girls day. I hadn't told him anything yet. I want to know for sure before I tell him false information.

Just as I was thinking about him, Justin walked into the kitchen, whistling a familiar tune that I couldn't make out. He placed a small kiss on my temple before grabbing a bottle of water from the fridge. I shifted from one foot to another every now and then causing him to raise an eyebrow questioningly.

"You okay?" He asked walking over to me.

I gave him a smile and nodded. "Just excited to hang out with Steph." I lied as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"you don't get this excited when you hang out with me." He pouted jokingly making me giggle. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck and pecked his lips.

"I see you everyday. And I love it." I told him, pulling away from the kiss. He smiled his beautiful smile just as I heard a car honk from outside. I kissed his lips again and then wriggled out of his grip, only to be pulled back into his chest.

"I miss you already." He whined as I laughed.

"I'll be back soon. Love you J." I told him and walked out the door.

"Bye! Love you!" He called out as I climbed into the passengers seat.

"Don't worry, Ryan's coming to keep him busy." Stephanie said as I got into her car. I nodded as she started driving down the road. I tapped my foot nervously and fidgeted with my hands in my lap.

"Nervous?" She asked me, noticing my fidgeting.

"A lot." I replied truthfully.

She held out her hand and placed in on my shoulder in a comforting way. "There is nothing to be worried about. If you're pregnant, then great. You and Justin get to start a family. If you're not pregnant you get off the hook." She rambled on, actually making a point.

"I hope I am." I blurted out without realizing.

"I hope you are too." She said. I smiled. I bet Justin will be happy. But what if he won't be? Why wouldn't he be? He always tells me how much he wants kids.

For now, all I can so is hope for the best.

A little while after Hailee and Stephanie left, Ryan showed up at the house. He let himself in and hollered to me. "In the living room!" I shouted in response, not wanting to move from my comfortable spot on the couch. Penny's ears perked up and she ran out of the room at Ryan's voice.

"I invited Chaz over. Hope you don't mind." He said lazily falling down on the couch next to me. "He's gonna be here in a while."

"Not much to do here." I said, knowing we could either play video games or watch TV. And I've done enough of that already.

"We will find something." He shrugged looking at the TV show I was neither watching or interested in. Penny returned to her spot under my arm warming my body back up again. I stroked her fur and watched as she quickly fell asleep. "Did you ask her yet?" I asked Ryan, breaking the silence.
