Chapter 45

-Justin-

I pulled up in the driveway and headed up to my room to shower. I showered and dressed into this:

Black jeans, white tank top and black leather jacket with black Supra's

I spiked my hair and brushed my teeth, grabbing my phone and going downstairs. Mom was on her computer in the kitchen when I came in.

"Hey sweetheart." She greeted.

"Hi mom." I greeted back giving her a hug.

"Where are you goin?" She asked as I grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge.

"I'm gonna go hang out with Ryan for a while." I told her. She nodded. "So I'm going to leave." I have her a hug and kissed her cheek. "Bye."

"Bye have fun!" She yelled before I shut the door. I walked out to my car getting in and driving out. I noticed my gas tank was on empty so I stopped to get some gas. After that I headed to Ryan's house. When I got there I parked in the driveway seeing his parents weren't home. It was just him. I got out of my car and knocked on the door, before just going in. We always did that to each other. We knocked, ad then walked in.

"Aye Ryan!" I shouted. He came running down the stairs.

"What up bro!" He said. We did our 'bro shake' as Hails and Steph called it.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked sitting down in his couch. He shrugged.

"Wanna shoot some hoops?" He suggested. I nodded and we headed to the front yard. We moved out cars so we could use the driveway. He grabbed a basketball out of the garage and threw it to me.

"Get ready to lose." I dribbled the ball. He laughed and shook his head.

"Not today bro." He said. I laughed.

"Oh you sure about that?"

"Oh let's go get our hair done!" Steph squealed as we walked past the hair salon at the mall. I have her a look not sure about it. She rolled her eyes and grabbed my wrist pulling me in. "Common it will be fun!"

"Hello! How may we help you today?" A girl around our age greeted.

"Hair. We want to dye our hair." Steph told her. I widened my eyes at her.

"Dying it?" I asked. She nodded.

"Yeah common Hailee! It will be fun." She begged. I finally gave in.

"Alright fine." I spat.

"Okay what would you like?" The girl asked us. I shrugged. "You can look through the books if you like." She pointed to a book to look at. I thanked her and sat down, flipping through it.

"Oh I like this. It would look great on you." Steph pointed to a hairstyle. It was cute. It was lighter brown at the top and darker at the bottom.

"Alright I'll do it."

"Yay! I already know what I'm doing to mine so leggo!" She said. The girl took us back and worked on my hair while another lady worked on Stephanie's. After what seemed like forever, our hair was finally done. Stephanie's turned out really cute. It looked like this:

"I love yours Steph. It just fits you." I told her. She smiled.

"Thanks. I like it too. But look at yours! They even curled it for you!" She said. I looked in the mirror at my hair:

It was dirty blond, then light brown and the tips dark brown

I smiled. I actually liked it. "Come here." I said to Steph pulling out my phone to take a picture. I took the picture going to post it on Facebook. I opened it on my phone seeing new notifications from people liking my status. I knitted my eyebrows together looking confused. I clicked on my profile seeing my latest status. 'Justin is amazing! He's the best boyfriend in the whole wide world!'. I rolled my eyes. "Justin." I said.

"What did he do this time?" Story laughed.

"Hacked me." I laughed too.

"Ah good old Justin. He's always done that to me." She said. I shook my head and rolled my eyes.

"Now what?" I asked. She shrugged.

"Lets get something to eat." She said. I nodded since I was pretty hungry. We went to the food court and picked out somewhere to eat. I ordered a sandwich from 'Subway' as well as Stephanie and sat down at a table. Me and Steph were engaged in a conversation when I felt two hands cover my face. I started screaming and kicking until I heard the familiar laugh. I turned around hitting his arm.

"Justin you ass! You scared the shit out of me!" I said. He was cracking up with laugher. I looked at Ryan and Steph who were too. I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry. I-I I had t-to" Justin said between laughs. I eventually started laughing. Justin pulled up a chair from another table sitting next to me.

"Okay now we can say hello for real." He said finally calming down and stopped laughing. He hugged me and gave me a kiss. "Your hair looks nice by the way." He said. I smiled.

"Thanks." I said as I continued eating my sub. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We got bored at his house so we thought we might find you guys here." Justin told us.

"For once you guys thought right." Stephanie joked making me laugh. Justin took my sun and took a big bite out of it.

"Justin!" I whined.

"Sorry I'm just soo hungry." He said playfully with a mouthful of food. I laughed at him.

"Then go get you're own." I told him.

"Nah I don't feel like it." He said. I laughed rolling my eyes. Steph and Ryan were talking to each other and I was just about to say something to Justin when my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket seeing it was a call from my mom.

H: Yeah?
M: Hails are you coming
home tonight?
H: yeah why?
M: because I have to tell
you something. Don't
worry it's not bad
H: then why can't you tell
me now?
M: because I want to tell
you in person.
H: alright fine. I'll be home
later. I gotta go though
so bye.
M: bye

I hung up and set my phone on the table.

"What was that about?" Justin asked, now drinking my water. Oh well.

"My mom has to tell me something so I have to be home tonight." I groaned.

"Tomorrow's Monday. You would have to be home anyway." He told me. I nodded.

"I guess so." I said taking my water from him. He frowned but then turned to Steph.

"So you both got your hair done?" He asked. She nodded.

"Yep." She said popping the 'p'.

"Cool. I beat Ryan at hoops. Like always." Justin said. Ryan gave him a 'shut the hell up' look. I laughed at ryan.

"So what do you guys want to do?" I changed the subject. They all shrugged.

"I can drink the rest of your water for you." Justin smiled. I rolled my eyes giving him my cup. He took it and started drinking it. I laughed. "We could go to the movies."

"Yeah let's do that." Steph agreed. Ryan nodded.

"Sounds good." Justin said. We all got up walking out of the mall to the cars. I went with Justin in his car and Steph went with Ryan in her car.

"So your birthday is next week." Justin started our conversation.

"You remembered my birthday? I told you about my birthday once! And that was like, three months ago!" I exclaimed. He laughed.

"Yeah I remember your birthday. But what do you want?" He asked. I shook me head.

"Nothing." I told him.

"Aw common. I have to get you something." He frowned.

"No you don't. Besides, I have everything I need." I said smiling at him.

"Well I'm still getting you something whether you like it or not. I could get you something as little as a bracelet or as big as a puppy." He rambled on.

"You would get me a puppy?" I asked.

"Well if you wanted one." He said.

"I've always wanted a dog only mom and ads never could afford one." I said. "But that doesn't mean you're getting me one!" He frowned.

"Alright I won't." He said smiling at me. Since the movie theater
wasn't far we were there within five minutes. We parked and climbed out of the car seeing Stephanie and Ryan pull up after us. They got out and we all went into the theater. We ended up seeing the new monsters inc. It actually turned out cute. When we got out of the movie it was dark.

"I should probably get home." I frowned.

"Yeah me too. I told mom I would be home tonight." Justin agreed.

"Okay. Well bye!" Stephanie said giving us both hugs.

"Bye Ryan." I said giving him a hug too. "See you guys tomorrow." Me and Justin headed to his car and drove off to my house. We pulled up in front and I leaned over giving Justin a big kiss.

"Bye babe. I love you." He said. I smiled and kiss him again.

"Bye I love you too. See you tomorrow." I shut the car door walking to the house. I heard Justin's car speed away. I opened the door shutting it behind me. I went into the kitchen where my parents were eating dinner.

"Good you're home." Mom said. I grabbed a bowl of the spaghetti they were eating and sat down with them.

"So what was so important you had to tell me?" I asked stuffing some in my mouth. Mom took a big breath before continuing.

"Well, we always knew how much you have wanted a sister." She said. I dropped my jaw.

"Mom don't you think you're a little to old to have kids." I said. She laughed.

"We would have a new kid. There is this girl five years old, who is up for adoption. So me and your father wanted to adopt her." Mom explained.

"Alright. This might be fun." I agreed.

"Okay good cuz we already did it." Dad spilled. I laughed.

"So what's her name?" I asked.

"Her name is Ally and she is really sweet." Mom said. I nodded.

"When is she gonna be here?" I finished my food and put my dish in the sink.

"Tomorrow afternoon." Mom said.

"That's fast. Where is she gonna sleep?"

"The guest room." Dad answered.

"What is she gonna play with? That room is for old people." I said.

"We're going shopping tomorrow while you're at school." Mom told me. I nodded. "But on the other hand, last week of school, and your birthday is on Saturday. What do you want?"

"Honestly nothing. But if you insist, I really don't care. Clothes or something like that." I told them. "But since finals are this week i better go to bed." I headed up to my room changing into my pajamas and getting in bed falling fast asleep.
