Chapter 68

-Justin-

"Justin you are filthy. You still have dried blood on you." Mom pointed out the obvious. "The doctors said you could shower."

"And you just telling me this now?" I said not knowing I was aloud. She held her hands up in surrender as I pushed the blankets off. "I feel disgusting."

"You look disgusting too." Hailee said playfully and jokingly. I shit her a glare as she sat down in the bed when I got up. "I'm kidding." She laughed. I walked over to her and placed my hands on both sides of her face, pulling her face to mine and kissed her lips. She didn't have any hesitation to kiss back but pulled away. "Now go shower."

"You got my bag?" I asked mom and she nodded. She went and grabbed my favorite bag from the corner of the room and handed it to me. "Thanks mom. You guys don't miss me to much." I joked and then went into the bathroom. This was the first time I actually took the time to look at my reflection. I looked horrid. My face was cut up and bruised. My lips were dry and I had cuts. My hair was crazy, scattered in every direction. I lifted my shirt over my head seeing more bruises on my chest and torso. I turned around turning on the water waiting for it to get hot. I took of my jeans and boxers before I stepped into the hot water. The heat burned on my body but it felt amazing at the same time. I shut my eyes feeling my body relax some. I scrubbed everything off my body leaving my clean. I washed my hair and then stood in the water for a minute. I turned off the water wrapping a clean towel that was on the rack about my waist. I looked into the mirror seeing my reflection. It was better than before. I sighed with relief. I dried myself off and changed into this outfit my mom packed me:

White Tank Top, Black Sweat Pants, Red and White Varsity Jacket and Black Supra's

I didn't bother putting the hat on since I didn't want to get it wet with my wet hair. I combed my hair and then ruffled it up a bit. I didn't put my shoes on either since i wasn't going anywhere. I shouldn't even be wearing my own clothes. I bet when the doctors come in the will make me put on one of this stupid gowns. No way I'm wearing that. I opened the door and went back into the room. Hailee smiled when she saw me. I noticed mom wasn't there any more.

"Now you look so much better." She joked and I sat down next to her, wrapping my arms around her waist. She giggled as I kissed her cheek.

"Where's mom?" I asked her. "She went to get some rest." Hailee responded. I nodded. "Hey Hails do you got any Chapstick I can barrow?" She reached in her pocket handing me her tube of Chapstick. "Thank you. I need this so bad."

"Yeah you do." She said playfully. I smiled and put some on my lips before handing it back to her. "Now you better lay back down before the doctors yell at you." She told me scooting over so I could lay down.

"Why do I have to lay down?" I asked not wanting to.

"Because they said you weren't healthy enough to go home yet. I guess it's because they need to do some more testing and what not." Hailee explained. I groaned just wanting to get out of the place.

"I don't wanna." I pouted like a little kid. Hailee laughed rolling her eyes. "I know you don't want to. But you have to. Down worry, it will en over soon." She said. I rested my head on her lap since she was still sitting on the bed with me. She ran her hand through my hair smiling at me.

"I'm so glad you're back." She whispered. I looked up at her seeing her looking out the window. I smiled when she looked back down at me. "I'm glad I'm back too." I agreed. She leaned down stopping so our lips were barely touching. I pouted and she laughed. "I love you." She said and then pushed her lips on mine giving me a sweet passionate kiss. I missed these so much. It's been weeks since this. Of course, we were interrupted by a doctor entering the room. Hailee quickly pulled away hoping the doctor didn't see anything but he gave us a weird look.

"Hello Justin, I'm Dr. Sadlek. I'm here to take you for a test." The doctor told me. I sighed looking up at Hailee who was frowning. I slowly sat up.

"What's the test for? I feel fine." I told him.

"Mostly just to make sure everything is okay. I'm not quite sure yet." The doctor said. I nodded looked at Hailee besides me.

"Can she come?" I asked taking her hand. She looked up to the doctor with a smile.

"Well I don't see why not." He told us and we both stood up. "But you have to put this on first. It's the rules." He threw me what I didn't want. The gown I have to wear. "Ugh I'm not wearing this." I groaned.

"Justin babe, just go put it on." Hailee said. I frowned walking to the bathroom and changed my clothes. I came back out with a disgusted look on my face. "I look like a fucking girl in this." I whispered to Hailee making her laugh. She shook her head. "You look cute babe." She said.

"Please come with me." The doctor interrupted us again. We obeyed walking down the hall behind him. I grabbed Hailee's hand and intertwined our fingers. She smiled leaning her head on my shoulder. The doctor led us into a room where there was another girl in probably in her late twenties.

"You must be Justin Bieber. I'm Nicki." The girl introduced herself to me. "Hi Nicki." I said. "This is Hailee, she's my everything." I said. Hailee blushed and buried her face him my chest. "that's very cute." Nicki said smiling.

"Now Justin, were gonna run some tests. These tests will determine when you can go home. So be serious. Hailee you may stay if you like but you can't say anything." Nicki explained. We both nodded. We sat down in the chairs and then Nicki had me answer some questions.

"What day were you born?"

"March 1st, 1994."

"What color is your house?"

"Grey."

"What is your father's name?"

"Jeremy."

"What is your favorite animal?"

"What is the point of these stupid questions?" I asked finally getting annoyed.

"They are memory questions. Just seeing if you can remember things." Nicki told me. I sighed as we moved onto the next test. "Okay Justin, you seem to remember everything. That's good. Now that we have your mental status down we need to check your physical health. I groaned.

"Like what?" I wondered. I was getting annoyed. This Nicki girl was pissing me off. Hailee wasn't allowed to talk so I was obviously mad. We had to go to the room next door. "So Justin, for the physical checks we have to take an X-ray and then just test some functions out. I turned to Hailee. "Why are we going this. My body is working just fine." I whined. She smiled. "It's okay Justin, you're almost done." She told me while giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay Justin, if you would just lay down here." Nicki said pointing at one of those uncomfortable things at the doctors office. I'm so ready to get out of here.




I was finally done with tests. The decided to keep me here till tomorrow night unfortunately. It was so boring here. At least I had Hailee. She hasn't even left to go home and rest once. We were lying on the bed snuggled up together, ready to sleep. She was falling asleep ever so slightly when I looked at her. She was exhausted. She had her head on my chest and my arms were wrapped around her small body. I kissed her head. "Goodnight baby." I whispered. She smiled. "Goodnight Justin." She said back. "I love you." She added. "I love you too." I said back and we both fell into a nice peaceful sleep.

-Hailee-

I woke up on Justin's chest. His arms were still wrapped around me. My legs were crossed over his. I looked up at him seeing him still sleeping. I smiled taking in this moment. This is the first time in weeks I have woken up with him next to me. I played with the hem of his hospital gown as I waited for him to wake up. I listened to his light snoring thinking to myself. It's crazy how fast he recovered. I would have expected it to be so much longer. And now he gets to leave sometime today. I guess that's a good thing. I shifted my body a little making Justin groan lightly. "Sorry." I whispered and he smiled hearing my voice. I smiled back but he still didn't open eyes. He wrapped his arms me tighter snuggling his face into my neck. I played with his hair and I felt him leave one small kiss only neck. Then he gave me a kiss on my cheek then lips.

"Good morning beautiful." He said in his sexy morning voice making my heart melt. "Good morning handsome." I said back and we both smiled with each other. "Did you sleep good?" He asked resting his forehead on mine.

"Ok course I did. I was with you." I giggled. He then sat up and rubbed my eyes as I sat up resting my head on his back.

"When do we get to leave?" He asked taking my hand.

"I don't know. Not until later I think." I told him and I felt him playing with my ring. I smiled remembering that day. I heard him groan and I sat up more so I had my chin on his shoulder. "It's okay. It will be over before you know it." I kissed his cheek and he pulled me closer so I was sitting on his lap. He looked straight into my eyes.

"You're staying right?" He questioned. I laughed and nodded.

"Of course in staying. I'm not leaving." I told him as he leaned down connecting his lips onto mine. I kissed back with full force making the kiss more rough than sweet. I felt Justin smile as I put my legs on either side of him. Justin placed his hands on my hips just as there was a knock on the door. I didn't climb off Justin, I just turned around and sat in his lap like before. "Come in!" Justin hollered and the door creaked open. I saw Stephanie poke her head in and I smiled.

"We can come back later if you need me too." She said.

"No it's fine. Come in." Justin said and she came in with Ryan following behind her.

"Hey guys." He said as they sat down.

"Wow Justin, you look so much better than last time I saw you." Stephanie said making Justin giggle. I smiled at him wanting him to laugh for the rest of his life. He noticed I was smiling at him so he leaned down planting a quick kiss and then pulled away.

"What are you smiling about?" He asked leaning his forehead on mine. I shook my head looking away but he grabbed my chin pulling me back to look at him. "What is it?"

"I was just thinking about how cute your laugh was," I told him hearing it again. "See like that."

"Well be glad your the reason why." He whispered making my cheeks turn red and hot.

"Aw Ry look, how cute are they." Stephanie cooed making me laugh.

"Shut up." I said playfully making her laugh.

"So when do you leave?" She asked Justin changing the subject.

Justin sighed. "Sometime today. The doctors haven't been in this morning."

As if on cue, the doctor walked into the room. We all looked at each other and laughed. I looked at the doctor. He seemed oddly familiar.

"Hello Justin. I'm Dr. McCartney." He said. That's where he was from! I remember when I came here when me, Justin, and Derek got into that big fight and I had to stay here.

"Hey I remember you." Justin said thinking the same thing. "Is that so?" Dr. McCartney asked. Justin nodded.

"Yeah, you took care on me like a year ago." I said from Justin's lap. The doctor looked at us and he smiled.

"I remember you two. You were the ones who were having laugh attacks the whole time." He remembered. Me and Justin looked at each other and smiled. I remembered that. Me and Justin couldn't stop laughing the whole time and mom kept yelling at us to stop.

"Yes sir, that's us." Justin said smiling. "Well it's good to know you two are still together and happy." The doctor said. I looked at Justin who kissed my forehead and hugged me tight.

"I am too" Justin said still not letting me go.
