Chapter 24
-Hailee-

My eyes slowly opened and I awoke, still in Justin's house. I felt his strong grip around me. I smiled some and rested my head on his arm. I rubbed my hand on his arm, soft enough so that I wouldn't wake him up. I became uncomfortable so I turned around so I was facing him, and buried my face in his chest. I heard his steady heart beat, and his light breathing. It comforted me. It made me feel safe. I heard him numbing things, talking in his sleep, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. Then, I felt his head move, and he sighed. I looked up to see his face, just as I saw his eyes flutter open. He yawned and then looked at me, smiling. I noticed then that it was dark in the house, but I didn't worry. I focused on Justin and how happy he looked when he saw me.

"You know what time it is?" He asked. I grabbed my phone from next to me and looked at the time.

"It's ten o'clock." I answered. Ten o'clock! My dad is going to kill me.

"Ah man." He said. "We slept for a long time." I decided that since they haven't called me yet, I would be fine. So I calmed down and relaxed, still in Justin's grip. He was moving his hand up and down my back and he had a huge smile on his face.

"Why are you smiling?" I asked him while I was smiling.

"I'm satisfied." He answered.

"Satisfied?" I question.

"By you. You are just so perfect to me." He said and I blushed.

"How?"

"Because you don't worry like other would so much. And you like me for me. And you are beautiful. Even when your sick." He explained, flattering me. I smiled and he smiled. The moment couldn't get any better. Wrong. It did get better. He pressed his lips in mine and kissed me. I kissed back with full force, as did he. Our lips moved in sync, and it was a supernova feeling. It was like fireworks every time we kissed. And every time felt like the first. I loved it. We pulled away and he rested his forehead on mine.

"Hailee?" He asked.

"Mhm?" I replied.

"You don't have to say it back, but I think I love you." He said. Trust was, I really did live him too. And I meant it.

"Justin. I love you too." I said back. I could tell he was happy I said it too and he had a smile on his face from ear to ear. It made me feel good to know I made him so happy. And when he makes me happy, there's nothing else important in the world. "But you know that I'm in lots of trouble?" I change the subject. He laughed.

"Yeah." He replied shyly.

"But that okay. As long as I'm with you. If my dad wants to make up lies, then why not act like he's right?" I said. He raised his eyebrow, confused. "If I stay out late, then he's gonna say bad stuff, and say I'm going things I'm really not, so why not just say he's right?"

"Are you serious?" He asked.

"Yeah, not for real do that stuff, just act." I replied. He nodded.

"Well, this is the real Hailee?" He questioned and I smiled wide. No, just the evil side of me.

-Hailee's Father-

Where us she? It's almost eleven o clock and she's still not home! She's in big trouble. I don't think that this Justin kid is a good influence on her. Keeps her out late, takes her to parties. Who else know what else the do?!

"Honey calm down." Said my wife. "She probably got distracted. And who knows if she's even with Justin? Maybe she's with Stephanie." She had a point. Maybe. But I doubt it.

"That still doesn't mean she doesn't have to stay out all night." I hissed.

"Calm down! She's fine. I promise. Now, come back to bed." She said I a low hushed voice, as if everything is okay. I gave in and followed her to bed, and slowly falling asleep.

-Justin-

"I think it's broken." I joked at Hailee after she beat me in video games. She laughed.

"Back in Texas, this is all me and my cousins would do. I'm pretty sure it's not broken." She said.

"Damn your good." I muttered, and the laughed again.

"So, what time is it now?" She asked as we sat back and relaxed on the couch. I pulled out my phone phone to check the time.

"A little bit after midnight." I replied to her question.

"I am so dead." She groaned. "But, whatever."

"Why should you care so much?" I asked. She shrugged.

"I'm not scared. I just don't want the consequences. What if they don't let me see you anymore?" She cried.

"They will. And if not, then I can explain. I'll say it's my fault." I answered.

"But it's not your fault." She protected.

"Kinda. Your at my house. And so it's partially my fault." I joked.

"So, your not making me stay here." She said. "I want to stay so it's my fault."

"Okay, it's both of our fault." I said setting an upcoming argument. I yawned and stretched, and I looked per at Hailee who was going the same. "Lets to to bed." She agreed and we went upstairs to my room. We laid down next to each other and I ran my fingers through her hair.

"Justin?" I heard her say after a
While.

"yeah?" I said.

"I love you." She said softly. I smiled wide and closed my eyes.

"I love you too." I said back to her and we fell asleep.
