Sequel~ Thirty Four

Chapter 34

-Hailee-

"Justin, I'm pregnant." I finally got out. His mouth hung slightly ajar, but he remained silent. I waited impatiently for his response. He never said anything.

"Justin say something." I whispered standing up off the couch. His face showed no emotion as he looked straight ahead, still saying nothing. I sighed and turned around, trying to stop tears from spilling. "I-I thought that you would be h-happy." I stuttered, wiping the tears that fell.

I heard him mumble something that I couldn't make out. I shook my head and started walking out of the room. I hurriedly skipped up the stairs and went into our room, sitting on the edge of the bed. I felt more tears fall down my cheeks.

I thought Justin would be happy about it. He always talks about how much he wants a baby. I didn't expect him to sit there and say nothing.

After a few minutes, I stopped myself from crying and went into the bathroom. I wiped of my makeup that was smudged around my eyes as I heard the bedroom door open. "Hailee?" Justin's soft voice ran through the room before he appeared in the doorway.

"So you finally speak?" I muttered facing him and crossed my arms over my chest. He took a deep breath and sighed, walking right on front of me.

He cupped my face making me look him straight in the eye. "I'm not mad that you're pregnant babe. I was just shocked. I couldn't find words to say." He explained, making me feel like some weight had been lifted off my shoulders. "I am so happy for us. We are gonna have a baby. We are gonna be parents. I'm gonna be a dad. You're gonna be the best mom." He rambled on and I let more tears of joy fall down my cheeks.

"I thought you were going to be mad." I breathed as he pulled me I to a tight embrace.

"Never. You know how much I wanted to have a baby. I was just shocked. It was unexpected. But ya know, I'm so happy." He said. I looked up at him and saw him with a huge grin on his face.

I leaned up and kissed his cheek and then pecked his lips. "This is the start of the mine long months." I said.

"And I'm gonna be there the whole time." He told me and I smiled at him. "I'm gonna be a father." He kept whispering as we just stood here in each others arms.

"What are we gonna say to everybody?" I wondered just like I had earlier.

"Tomorrow. We will go tomorrow." He replied.

"My dad is gonna be mad." I said sadly.

"Hails, he's not gonna be. We are married. We've been together for a very long time. I'm not going to leave you. There is nothing to worry about." He comforted. I nodded in response and then pecked his lips again.

"I love you." I whispered laying my head on his chest.

"I love you too." He said back. "And you." He said cutely placing his hand on my stomach. I giggled and placed my hand on top of his. I know he's going to be a great father. And I'm so ready to start my family with him.

I woke up with a smile already placed on my face. I am going to be a dad. I do feel like a total ass for not saying anything right away when she told me. I hope she knows that I am so excited for this baby.

I noticed that Hailee wasn't in the bed next to me. Hearing the water running in the shower, I knew she was in there. I sat up and stretched out my body, letting a yawn escape my mouth. I heard the water turn off and then some shuffling around in the bathroom. After a minute Hailee came out of the bathroom, a white towel wrapped around her petite body and her wet hair framed her face.
