Chapter 28

-Justin-

I finally found a doctor walking around the halls and asked him if Hailee could leave yet. He said that he had to get another doctor to go and check on her. I walked back to the room and slid inside. Hailee and her parents were in the middle of talking about what happened for Hailee to get here. I told them mostly what happened when Stephanie made me call her parents. I have a feeling they hate me. But that doesn't matter, I love Hailee, that's what matters.

"So! Can we leave?!" Hailee asked right away. I laughed a bit.

"They're sending some one to come check on you." I told her sitting back down in one of the chairs next to the bed. Hailee groaned.

"But I feel fine." She whined.

"Hails, just because you feel fine doesn't mean you are fine." Her mom told her. She rolled her eyes.

"Fine." She groaned. After a few minutes of waiting the doctor came in.

"Hello Hailee. How do you feel?" He asked her.

"You want to know how I feel? I feel like I could go out and fun five miles and the swim across the ocean. That's how I feel." She responded. I held back a laugh.

"Hailee Mae! Be nice." Her mom spat at her using her full name.

"What? He asked me how I felt so I told him how I felt." She said back and I tried holding in another laugh. But as soon as me and Hailee had eye contact, we both bursted into a fit of laugher. After about two minutes we finally calmed down and stopped laughing.

"Okay sorry." Hailee said turning her attention back to the doctor.

"You're fine. Laughing is good for you." The doctor joked making Hailee smile. "Okay, have you eaten anything since you got here?" Hailee shook her head. "Okay well we will get something to eat and if you hold that down you're free to go."

"The doctor left and brought back some food for Hailee. He brought her pancakes with syrup and she ate it. We waited almost half an hour and the doctor returned to the room. Since Hailee could keep the food down he let us leave. She gladly hopped out of the bed almost loosing her balance, but I caught her. She changed out of the hospital robe and changed into the pajamas her parents brought her, which looked like this:
Gray Sweatpants, white tank-top and white fluffy slippers

On the way out door the doctor gave Hailee some medicine for the pain. She grabbed my hand and followed me put to my car where she gave me a big hug and went to say goodbye.

"Bye Justin. I'll see you tomorrow right?" She asked.

"Definently." I said. I gave her a kiss on the forehead since her parents were watching and she left with her parents. I climbed into my car and went home. When I got there, I showered and went straight to bed, wearing my sweats. I sat in bed for a while, my face hurting, but that didn't stop me from falling into the deep sleep I needed.

-Hailee-

I was in the middle of a really bad dream about the fight from earlier, only when I woke up, Justin wasn't there with me. When I asked the doctors when he was, the just shook their heads and walked away.

I woke up with tears streaming down my face, and my mom was sitting by my side.

"Where's Justin?" I imediatly asked. She knitted her eyebrows together.

"He's not here." She told me and I started crying more. She made me sit up and she hugged me, while I cried in her arms. After I didn't settle down she pulled away and looked at me, face to face.

"Do you want me to call him, and tell him to come. It might help you sleep." She offered. I let a small smile creep onto my face and nodded. She took my phone and started to call Justin. He answered right away. I could here what he was saying but mom asked if he could come over and try to calm me down. After she hung up and put my phone back on the nightstand she looked at me and smiled.

"He will be over in a few minutes." She said kissing my forehead. It wasn't until then I noticed dad was standing in the doorway. She stood up and walked out. I heard them walking downstairs so that they could answer the door when Justin got here. I laid back down and waited trying to stop crying.

A little bit later, I heard the doorbell ring and my parents answered the door.

"She's in the room." I heard mom say. I waited for him to reach my room. I heard the door crack open and he came in. I turned to face him and he smiled wide when he saw my face. He crawled in next to me and wrapped his arms around me, but so we could still see each others faces.

"What's wrong babe?" he asked me. I thought back to my dream and a few more tears escaped my eyes.

"Just a really bad dream." I told him. He noticed the tears and wiped them away.

"Don't cry. It was just a dream. Everything's gonna be alright." He comforted me. But somehow, I just cried more. I buried my face in his chest.

"Justin?" I asked through the tears.

"Yeah babe?" He replied, running his hands through my hair.

"Promise me you will never leave?" I asked him. He smiled and pulled me closer kissing my head.

"I promise. I'm not going anywhere." He said. I smiled and then it went silent, except for my few sniffles here and there. Justin laid with me, quietly humming a tune I've never head before. His beautiful voice and his fantastic scent was everything I needed. I listened to him humming and
smiled the whole time, until I fell asleep.
-------------------------------------

The next morning I woke up, still wrapped in Justin's arms, with my back pressed up against his now bare chest. He was still sleeping and I heard his light snoring. I am so glad he came last night. I don't know what I would have done without him. The snoring stopped and Justin eyes fluttered open. He stretched and rubbed his eyes and then squeezed me tightly.

"Morning babe." He said in a sexy morning voice. His hair was all over the place and yet he still managed to look goreous.

"Morning Justin." I said back giving him a kiss.

"We need to make up a nickname for me. Since you're Hails, I can be...?" He randomly said. I laughed.

"That was random. But how about I call you JuJu." I suggested. He smiled and buried his head in my chest.

"Sounds good to me." I heard him sat. I wrapped my arms around his head and tried to fix his soft hair. "Hailee?" He said, pulling away from the weird hug.

"Huh?" I said.

"What did you dream about?" He asked. That was the first time I thought about it.

"I dreamed I lost you." I said sadly. His face looked like he was sad too. Then he pulled me into another hug, only this time it was normal.

"It's okay, I'm not going anywhere." He said kissing my head. When I sat up all the way, my head started throbbing. I groaned and held my head. "Does it hurt?" I nodded.

"Yeah it does." I told him.

"Lets go get you some medicine then." He said standing up. He held out his hand for me to take and
I grabbed it. We walked out of the bedroom, and went downstairs to the kitchen. My parents sat, as usual, drinking coffee and reading the newspaper.

"Hi mom hi dad." I said when we entered. I grabbed my medicine and took two pills as prescribed. I gulped them down with water and returned to Justin's side, taking his hand back in mine. A perfect fit.

"How ya feelin'?" Mom asked turning to look at us.

"Just hurt a bit. But other than that I'm good." I said.

"And how are you this morning Justin?" She asked him.

"I'm great. And you Mrs. Ellis?" He asked being polite. I held back a laugh.

"I'm wonderful. Thank you Justin." She answered.

"I'm hungry. Lets make breakfast!" I said changing the subject. I pulled Justin into the kitchen and got out the stuff to make pancakes.

"Okay, you mix all this together in this bowl." I said handing him a bowl and the mix. "And I'll help you."

"Alright! Lets go this. This is an important mission." He joked and I laughed. He grabbed the mix and poured it in the bowl. I read the directions of the bag.

"Next is milk." I told him.

"Milk!" He retreated, pouring some milk in and stirring it. I read the next step.

"And now eggs." I told him.

"Eggs!" He repeated again making me laugh. I wrapped my arm around his arm and he stirred everything together.

"I'll turn on the stove." I told him. I walked over to the stove and put a pan so we could cook them. Justin walked to me with the bowl of mix. He grabbed a whole spoonful of it and put it in the pan.

"Justin that's to much!" I shouted.

"No it's not. It's fine." He said and kept pouring mix into the pan. I hit it to make him stop, but it ended up splattering everywhere. I put my hands over my mouth and we both started laughing hard.

"What's so funny in there?" I heard dad ask. We started laughing more.

"Nothing!" I managed to say.

"Oh Hailee guess what?" Mom shouted from the other room.

"What?" I asked.

"Noah and Maddie are coming to visit! They should be here any minute!" She shouted. I stopped laughing when I heard her say Noah. Him and Maddie were my moms best friends kids from Texas. I love Maddie, she is seven, but Noah. We didn't get along. He always tried to hook up with me.

"Who's that?" Justin asked snapping me back Out of my thoughts. I looked at him.

"My moms friends kids from Texas. Maddie's seven and Noah is our age. But I really don't like him." I explained.

"Ohhhhhhhh." He said. I looked at the pancake in the pan.

"Justin! It's gonna burn!" I yelled. He flipped it and we started laughing again.

"This is why I love spending time with you." He laughed. I laughed too and he hugged me, and then gave me a big kiss.

"Agreed." I said when we pulled away. Then the doorbell rang. Mom and dad both rushed to get it, but I stayed in the kitchen. I heard them greet Noah and Maddie and they both asked my parents where I was. They responded with 'in the kitchen'.
The only thing I thought was that this wasn't going to end well.
