Chapter 20
-Hailee-

I was awoke by someone shaking me and calling my name. I opened my eyes and say that it was my mom. Once I was awake, she opened my curtains and I was blinded by the sun.

"What do you want? It's Sunday. Lets me sleep!" I groaned stuffing my head in my pillow.

"You have a visitor." She said. I slowly looked up.

"Who?" I asked.

"Jessie or whatever his name is." Mom said dramatically but I knew who she was talking about.

"It's Justin." I hissed as I got up. "You should get to know that."

"And why is that?" She questioned. Right, she doesn't know we're a thing now.

"Because he's like my best friend." I said and walked to the bathroom. I brushed through my hair.

"I'm going to tell him you'll be right down." Mom said and left the room. After brushing through my hair, I brushed my teeth, and then jumped down the stairs. Justin was standing by the door, talking to my mom. When he saw me he smiled big and opened his arms for a hug, and I hugged him.

"Sorry for waking you babe." He whispered.

"No, it fine. Just because its you." I whispered back and he let out a small and quite laugh.

"You guys got a thing here?" Dad butted in. I looked at Justin who was about to speak.

"No sir. We're just friends for now." He lied. I smiled as dad turned to look at me, seeing if he was right, and I nodded.

"Okay well, Hailee, me and you father have to go to the store and get food. So we will be back soon." Mom said. She grabbed her purse and they headed out the door.

"Be safe." Dad said before the door shut. I rolled my eyes and faced Justin. He was smiling, still.

"What are you so happy about?" I asked as I sat down in the couch, and him sitting next to me.

"You guys are just funny." He said.

"See why I wish your mom was mine?" I said.

"Yeah, I do." He answered. "But, when are you going to tell them about us?"

"I guess the best time will be tonight." I said. "I have detention tomorrow anyway. So I won't get in trouble."

"That's right. Remind me to get into detention tomorrow." He joked. I laughed.

"Will do!" I said happily. "But I have to ask you something."

"Okay." He said.

"When I first moved here, Steph told me not to get involved with you because you were a player. Why is that different with me?" I asked.

"I don't know. I guess your just different. You just have that effect on me." He said smiling. I smiled too.

"In a good way?" I questioned.

"Yes. A very good way." He said back and we both laughed. I rested my head on his shoulder.

"What are we going to so today?" I asked after a few minutes.

"How about we just sit here and watch Disney movies." He suggested.

"Yeah!" I said. I loved Disney movies. I got up and pulled out all of them. "Which one?" Justin came over to me and we sat on the floor, picking which one to watch.

"How about this one." He said holding up 'Toy Story'. I nodded taking it from him and putting it in the DVD player. I grabbed some blankets out of basket be t to the couch and we sat down cuddled up together, as the movie started.

-Justin-

After watching Toy Story and Hailee making me watch Cinderella, we stopped watching movies and sat talking. Her parents hadn't come home yet, which left us still alone.

"You know what? You kinda remind me of Cinderella." I said.

"And why is that?" She asked knitting her eyebrows together.

"Because you have said before that you don't feel good enough for me, just like Cinderella does think the prince would fall in love with her. And in the end, we both know you're everything I could ever ask for." I explained. Hailee's cheeks turned red and she buried her face in my chest to hide it. I laughed.

"You're making me blush with all your sweet comments." She mumbled.

"And I think it's cute, so I'm going to keep complimenting you, whether you like it or not." I said as she looked up so I could see her face again. She was smiling and so was I.

"Why are you so perfect?" She questioned and I laughed. "I mean seriously, you're flawless."

"And so are you." I replied and she blushed again. I pulled her to me, so she was sitting on my lap. "And I mean it." With that being said, she crashed her lips onto mine. I kissed back with just as much force, our lips moving perfectly in sync. Just then, I heard the door open. Hailee pulled away and got off my lap. She sat at the other end of the couch with net feet on my lap, like friends would do. We both laughed as her parents walked in.

"Common Hailee, help us bring in the groceries." Her mom said. Hailee groaned.

"But mom, I have a friend over." She whined.

"Common, I'll help." I said getting up. She held out her arms like she needed help getting up. I rolled my eyes and grabbed her arms, helping her up. We headed to the car outside and started making trips back and forth to carry the groceries inside. When we were done, we helped but everything in the cupboards.

"Thank you Justin. You were a great help." Hailee's mom said.

"Sure thing ma'am" I replied.

"Aw see that honey, he even called me ma'am." She cooed taking to her husband. I laughed and Hailee rolled her eyes, pulling me out of the kitchen, and upstairs to her room.

"Sorry about that." Hailee muttered as she sat down on the bed. I sat down next to her.

"Nah, it's cool." I said. "Better made a good impression right?" I joked and she laughed.

"Yeah that's probably a good idea."
