Chapter 23

-Hailee-

I looked at the reflection in the mirror. I smiled to myself smoothing out my dress (Gorgeous Beaded Sweetheart Satin Black Ruched Strapless Empire Cocktail Dress)

8My hair was in waves and my makeup was done lightly. I slipped on my white sandals and grabbed my phone, heading downstairs. I entered the kitchen where Justin: (he is wearing what he wore in 2012 America Music Awards) was. I smiled and walked over to him.

"You ready?" He asked leaning down and placing a soft passionate kiss on my lips. Justin was taking me to dinner, who knows where. And who knows why. He had told me earlier to dress nicely when I got home from hanging out with Stephanie. I nodded to his question and then he grabbed my hand, grabbing his keys and then we went outside. He opened the car door for me and did a silly hand gesture making me laugh as I climbed in. He shut the door and he ran over to his side and got in. He piled out of the driveway and we headed down the road. He took my handwork his free one and intertwined our fingers. I leaned down and held them to my cheek, shutting my eyes and relaxing.

"So, what did you and Stephanie do today?" He asked, starting a conversation. I shrugged still keeping my eyes shut.

"We just hung out at her house with Ryan. We didn't really do much." I told him truthfully. I opened my eyes and looked at him seeing him nodding his head. "Why didn't you come with?" I asked curiously.

"I promised I mom I would take her out." He replied. I nodded and smiled.

"Momma's boy." I teased in a jokingly matter. He chuckled and then shook his head.

"Well, I can't say I'm not." He defended making me laugh.

"If your mom was my mom, I would be a momma's girl too. Your mom is perfect." I told him. Pattie truly was amazing. Ever since I first met her.

"She says the same thing about you." Justin looked at me for just enough time to flashed me his one and only million dollar smile. I've never seen a better smile. Ever.

"Ya know what? Your whole family is just perfect. Patties perfect. Jeremy is perfect. Jazzy and Jaxon are perfect. You're grandparents are perfect. You're perfect." I rambled on. He smiled and laughed a little.

"Not as perfect as you." He sang. I blushed a little.

"Please, I'm not perfect." I protested. Justin looked at me with a weird look.

"Hails, you're lying to yourself. You are practically perfect in every way. And if you think you're not perfect or others think you're not perfect, they are wrong. You're perfect to me. That's all that matters to me." He explained making my heart feel warm. I blushed and leaned over the seat to his his cheek.

"I love you so much." I whispered to him. He smiled and pecked my lips quickly before the light we were stopped at turned green.

"I love you too." He replied as he made a right turn. We sat in a comfortable silence holding hands. I couldn't tell where we were going since by now it was dark.

"You're not gonna tell me where we are going until we get there huh?" I spoke making him smirk and then nod.

"We will be there in a few minutes." He laughed, knowing I hated surprises. Minutes later, He made another turn into the parking lot of a fancy restaurant I had never even knew was here. From the outside it looked expensive and fancy. Justin stopped the car and quickly got out before I could to open the door for me. I hadn't noticed until he actually opened the door as I looked at the buildings it up by fancy lights. I climbed out and Justin shut the door behind me. He grabbed my hand and I smiled at him as we walked up to the building. Once again, Justin opened another door for me and we walked in. The inside was just as nice as the outside.

"J, this place has to be at least a million dollars." I said, over exaggerating it a bit. Okay, a lot. Justin chuckled and wrapped his arm around my waist, kissing my forehead.

"Don't worry about it." He whispered walking up to the waitress.

"Welcome, how may I help you?" She greeted nicely. She looked at Justin, we all know why, and smiled flirty and then gave me a glare.

"Reservations for Bieber." Justin told her and she typed that into the computer.

"Right this way." She grabbed two menus and headed towards the back, with me and Justin trailing behind. She led us to a table in the back middle of the room. She placed the me us on the table and the walked away. I sat down as did Justin, and I smiled, admiring the place. It was a little dim, making it a good mood for a date. There were lights strung around the place, which provided most of the light. The tables and chairs were a black color to go with the maroon walls.

"You like it here?" Justin's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I looked at him, with my jaw dropped slightly.

"I love it. It's beautiful." I told him as I opened up the menu. My eyes read over the different items of food to choose from. I pursed my lips to the side thinking about what I wanted. I heard Justin laugh quietly and I looked up just in time to see him look down at his menu. "What?"

"You're cute." He replied not looking up. I giggled and continued to pick out something to eat as the waitress came back.

"What can I get you to drink?" She asked in a dull tone. Probably because she knows Justin isn't up for grabs. She looked at Justin waiting for his answer.

"I'll have Sprite." He told her not looking up as he searched his menu. She jotted it down on her notepad and then turned to me.

"I'll have the same." I told her before she walked away, purposely swinging her hips from side to side. I scoffed and rolled my eyes. It was silent for a few minutes until Justin spoke up.

"Hailee?"

"Hmm?"

"I have something to tell you. Or ask you, whichever you want to call it." He said making me giggle slightly.

"And what is that?"

"Hails, you are the most beautiful, sweet, and perfect girl I have ever met. I'm so glad you came into my life. I just can't thank you enough for letting me have a chance. I don't even know what it would be like if you didn't. I love you so so so much. I feel like we are just perfect for each other. We make each other happy. We laugh together. We just- I just am so glad that we can spend everyday together. I wouldn't change it for any thing. When you agreed to be my girl, I was ecstatic. So happy. And then when we moved to the house I was beyond happy. And I hate when we disagree. But every couple fights. And- I- I just- I can't explain how much I love you. I just remember every moment we have spent together. You aren't afraid to be yourself, and I love that. I love you." Justin rambled in making tears brim in my eyes. I couldn't stop smiling as Justin got out of his seat and kneeled down on one knee in front of me. I put my hand on my heart, smiling. He reached in his pocket and took out a small black box. He opened the lid and revealed the most beautiful ring: (In The Side)

"Hailee Mae Ellis, will you marry me?" Justin asked as tears slipped down my face. I was at the loss of words. This moment was so perfect. The man of my dreams just proposed to me. I nodded my head and Justin smiled big. He took the ring from the box and slipped it on my ring finger. He stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist, spinning me around. The people around us were looking in admiration, a couple of 'ohh' and 'aww' escaping their mouths. Justin sat me down before I crashed my lips on his. I pulled away after a few seconds.

"Yes."
